Hi, I've been reading questions posted by other users. I am interested in purchasing your product, but I need confirmation on two things.
1) I need confirmation that I can definitely use Open Router API? Based on previous answers, I think you only allow ChatGPT and Gemini via OpenRouter, not Claude. Is that correct?
2) Is the Sumo Router your own product just for Appsumo customers? So it's been specifically created for this Appsumo deal.

A: 1) You can use any models provided by the Open Router API, including the Claude models. There's no restrictions.
2) Yes, it's been designed for AppSumo customers, it's exclusive!

A: Yes, you have access to the same tools so if the provider you are using have models with function calling and are smart enough, it will work as well.

1. After 7,500 requests are exhausted, how does the app differ from Alter's free ($0) version? - Are there any additional features or benefits that distinguish it from the free version?
1a. Could you please list these additional features or benefits? - This helps evaluate Alter's value if the user opts not to buy more requests for Sumo Router.
2. Is there a counter showing the remaining request balance?

A: 1. Yes there is. Once the 7,500 requests are exhausted, you will still enjoy Alter with unlimited meeting recording and dictation with our pro local models. You will also keep access to the 2,000+ tools.
Also you won't get the popup reminder asking you to upgrade happening every ~6 chats.
2. Yes, you can check your request balance in Settings > Billing
Q: Do dictation cost any credit and does it work with thai language?

A: Dictation doesn't cost any credits nor meeting recordings.
Regarding the Thaï language, you will need to switch the voice processor that we set by default with your Sumo license. You'll need to choose Whisper V3 in Settings > Voice > Local Pro > Configure instead of Parakeet V3
We have Thaï users but I don't know if they're using the dictation feature in Thaï and if the word error rate is...
Q: Which models are included in the appsumo tier1 deal?
Will I be able to use Claude, Chat GPT, Grok, etc., with this deal? I do NOT have my own key. I understand that the 7500 will be used when accessing the models, correct? Thanks in advance for your help.

A: You won't be able to pick your model, included usage is only for the Sumo router. At the moment it's a blend of Kimi K2.5, Minimax 2.7 and Qwen 3.6 plus. Alter choose automatically which model to use based on the task.
The router can be updated with more powerful models when they come out at a similar price point and that our evals show progress in the tasks.
It's a super blend of models, thanks Alter! Looking forward to router updates with more powerful models like Kimi 2.6 and DeepSeek V4, both at similar price point and the required 1M context. It will become a mighty Kung Fu router 🥋⛩️🐉
