Sorry you’re running into this.

Ctrl + Win is the default press-and-hold shortcut we ship with on Windows, and recording should not stop automatically after 2 seconds. We are not currently aware of a general Windows issue with this shortcut, so it is possible that another app, keyboard utility, or system-level shortcut is interfering with one of the key presses.

We may need to check your logs and a few system details to understand what is causing Ctrl + Win to behave this way, which is difficult to do properly inside the AppSumo questions section.

In the meantime, you can also try changing the shortcut from Amical settings as a temporary workaround while we investigate the Ctrl + Win issue.
