A: Hi there! 1) Not yet — but it’s coming soon! I’m currently rebuilding the editor so you’ll be able to add music, as well as video and image overlays. 2) Yes, that’s definitely an option.

I'm thinking of creating wedding venues here in Hawaii and other travel destinations. Will I be able to create several maps on my website using your maps? It would also be nice to have an api where others can signup for an event and see where that event is at using your map.

A: Hi there! Great use case! Currently, we don’t support video hosting, so you’d need to host the videos yourself, for example, privately on YouTube — and then embed them on your website. Also, there’s no API available at the moment, and we don’t have plans to offer one anytime soon. Sorry about that!
Curious to know if hotels can use this to provide animated maps from the hotel to a local attraction or another point of interest? All your examples seem to be long journeys so I'm not sure how this would work with my above question. The thought is to use this for marketing and help with groups coming to stay at one of our hotels, business accounts to see how far their office is from...

A: Yes, AvoMap can absolutely be used for close-up routes, such as showing points of interest in a city or hotel locations within a town. You can zoom in to a camera elevation as low as 10 meters above ground. Thanks for mentioning that this use case isn’t currently shown. I’ll make sure to add it to the examples.

A: Hi Martin!
Right now, the maximum video length is two minutes. There are a couple of reasons for that:
1.) Rendering capacity: In the early days, my servers could only handle one-minute videos efficiently. I’ve scaled things up since then, and now two minutes works smoothly. I’m planning to increase this limit soon: Ideally three minutes for Full HD and two minutes for 4K.
