A: Hi, this is an interesting use case that I hadn’t considered before. At the moment, we don’t support overlays or displaying international date lines such as the 108th meridian.
I’m curious though — what specific use case are you looking into? I’m currently considering adding support for custom overlays in the form of shapes, and that might cover your needs as well.
Sure, it is for video content regarding locations of islands in the Alaska Aleutian Islands chain. An the International date line between Russia and the US. Little Diomede and Big Diomede islands. The third overlay would be in regards to longitude and latitude lines.
I am looking at your pricing plan and researched the credit usage. In the text comments the indication is 5-7 credits per video. However in your FAQ's it is indicating 1 credit to render. Can you please confirm what the credit usage costs are to create a video?
Thank you Have a great day

A: Hi there, thanks for reaching out.
Yes, absolutely. The way it works is that one render equals one credit. This gives you up to two minutes of video in Full HD resolution.
There are also additional features you can add depending on how you want your video rendered. For example, rendering in 4K resolution adds one extra credit. Choosing to white-label your video or add your own logo also adds...
Hey, the app keeps getting better, thanks for the great work!
Would it be possible to add Street View as one of the satellite options? It would be really useful for making a video that shows a large avenue or similar scenes.
Thanks!

A: Hi there and thanks for your question. Unfortunately, this is not a feature that I will be able to add to AvoMap anytime soon. Currently, Street View is tied to Google, and adding this to AvoMap would not only be a significant technical challenge but would also increase pricing dramatically because of licensing issues. I'm sorry to disappoint you :(
Q: What is difference between AvoMap and Map Director? Map Director seems to be offering same features for free.
If you can please educate us about the difference.

A: Great question! And you’re right, there is overlap. MapDirector is a great tool and works well for certain use cases.
The main difference is how the tools are used. AvoMap lets you create routes from scratch — by clicking, dragging, or searching for places — so you’re not dependent on pre-recorded data. It also supports different routing types like street, river, train, or fully custom...
Q: I can't seem to do cruises here. Seems like it can only do rivers. Any suggestions?

A: Hi there, thanks for your question. There are several ways to create routes with AvoMap.
River routing basically snaps to existing river networks. If you want to create routes over oceans (in your case, cruises), you can do this by building a custom route. This means you can simply click on the map to connect and fill in the gaps.
You can also rearrange the points afterward to make the route...

No, credits are good for a whole year.

Why does white labeling cost an additional credit?
