Hello, I would like to know whether blocking YouTube videos, iFrames, etc., is included by default in Consently, and if a corresponding banner is shown when access to the iFrame is blocked. I am also very interested in understanding how Consently handles this. Do I need to make changes to each iFrame individually, or is this done automatically? David

A: Hello David,
Great question, and thanks for reaching out.
By default, Consently blocks iframes from major platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Google Maps, Spotify, Vimeo, Instagram, and Twitter/X. You can easily manage these settings from the Cookies & Scanner section—I've included a screenshot for reference: https://s.10m.io/DQyJMLw2

A: Hi!
Absolutely. You can apply your own branding. Just upload your brand logo and it will appear on the floating revisit button.
You’ll also find a variety of customization options to match your brand, including colors and button styles. The banner automatically inherits your website’s primary font family, so it blends seamlessly with your site without any extra setup.
Do you know if your product supports Prestashop v9? a few customers replied Consently blocked any order is there any special way to implement your script? thanks

A: Hi Christelle,
Yes, Consently works with PrestaShop v9! It's platform-agnostic, so you just add our script to the <head> section of your theme and it's good to go.
Regarding orders being blocked: this is likely caused by the cookie auto-blocking feature affecting essential cookies used for cart and checkout functionality. Make sure your cart/session cookies are categorized under "Essential"...
Q: Why do you collect data for 900 other websites per default ? How to disable it
Hi checked out the free trial, the solution is good for me, but i noticed hat when the user wants to customuze his choices, then a section with partenr webste appears and that you actually collect data for more than 900 websties, which i find surprising since you sell a paid service and moroever resale the data of your customer's curtomers... So is there a way to disable this and make this list disaper to collect only for my website ? Thanks

A: Hi PaulC35349, Great question! What you're seeing is the IAB TCF 2.2 vendor list, which is a standard part of the Transparency and Consent Framework. When IAB TCF is enabled, the preference center displays registered advertising vendors so your visitors can make informed, granular consent choices. Consently does not sell or share your visitors' data with any of those vendors. Good news: we're...
Thanks for the reply, I understand, but I believe the list is still present and selected by default even in case of choosing a compliance framework without TFC. I am looking forward for the update, i think that will be quite usefull. Thank you
Hi PaulC35349, thank you for bringing this up, the fix is now live. The vendor list will now render based on your configuration, so if you're not using IAB TCF, the 900+ vendor list will no longer appear. Please give it a try and let us know if everything looks good!
I wanted to check in if this also offers implicit consent, which is under the CookieBot paid plan. That means once people see the banner, they scroll and keep engaging with the website; it automatically approves the consent given because they are using the website.

A: Hello! Consently currently supports explicit consent only. Cookies are blocked until the visitor actively clicks to accept. Implied/scroll-based consent isn't currently available, as it's not GDPR-compliant. However, if this is important for your use case, I'd encourage you to submit it as a feature request here: https://feedback.consently.net/
