A: Hi! Yes, Build mode's agent can write React Native, Flutter or native mobile code; there's no mobile starter template, so you run it on your own emulator/device. Local LLMs work via BYOK: Ollama is built into the extension (http://localhost:11434/v1, any model), and LM Studio/vLLM or any OpenAI-compatible server work via a custom base URL. BYOK messages are unlimited.

Per read thru the Q&A may i confirm Contral's Build mode can build the App? If Yes, what is the credit usage and credit limit per Tier?

A: Hi naturepharma.me, thanks for reading through the Q&A! Yes, Contral's Build mode can build an app from scratch. Open an empty folder, describe what you want, and it creates the files, writes the code, and can run install and dev-server commands with your approval. Bigger apps may take a few messages. Usage is tracked per feature rather than as one shared credit pool, and each message you send...
Hi naturepharma.me, good question! Build mode's hosted models are mostly open-source: the model picker in both the VS Code extension and the Contral IDE offers Smart | Auto (the default), Nemotron 3 Super, and gpt-oss-20b, switchable anytime. For stronger models, bring your own API key (BYOK): OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI, OpenRouter and more, any model. Messages on your own key are unlimited.
Apart from the teaching feature, how much Contral.ai is different from codemate.ai app?

A: Hi cikandar, thanks for asking!
Beyond the teaching layer, here's how Contral is set up today:
Build mode is a repo-aware coding agent with Plan, Fast, Deep, and Recursive modes. Plan starts read-only and ends in a plan you approve or reject; Recursive can draft, critique, and revise its own output. Contral never writes files silently. Edits show up as hunks you accept or skip (or apply all),...
A: Hi SolarBang, no API keys are needed. Contral comes with hosted AI models included, so you just sign in and start using Build mode and the teaching features, and usage counts against your plan's daily allowances. If you'd like, you can optionally bring your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Mistral, Ollama for local models, or any OpenAI-compatible provider)....
So can i build using the credits or its only for explanation ? I mean if anything wrong with the code can it correct it or say this is not the right way to do it ?

A: Hi GDR, thanks for asking! Yes, you can build with it. Contral's Build mode is a coding agent: it reads your project and proposes edits as a review card, and you accept, skip, or apply them all. It never writes to your files without your review. It can also create new projects (Next.js, Vite, Express, FastAPI, Django, Go and more) and open a live preview of web apps.
