Q: Distributed Referral Network & GDPR Questions

Considering AppSumo Tier 3 for a distributed referral network rather than a conventional sales team.
Each referrer would have their own user seat and would share personalized Dale demos through unique social and referral links.
Please confirm:
Can each user be restricted to specific demos or workspaces?
Can each user only see the leads and engagement generated through their own links?
Can an administrator view consolidated analytics across all users?
Does the Partner Center support external referrers or agencies?
Does every referrer receive a unique tracked demo link?
Can referrer IDs be passed through variables, webhooks or the API?
Can a user seat be reassigned later? Is this GDPR compliant for referral partners? Can each partner access only their own prospect data while the account owner remains the data controller?

A: Good news - I can confirm every one of your points. Here's the full picture for a distributed referral network on Tier 3:

Q: Can each user be restricted to specific demos or workspaces?
A: Yes. Access can be set org-wide, workspace-level, or private per demo, and every seat has permission levels. On Tier 3 you get unlimited workspaces, so you can isolate each referrer (or group of referrers) into their own workspace with only the demos you want them to have. This is the cleanest way to run a large referral network - each partner operates in their own walled space.

Q: Can each user only see the leads and engagement generated through their own links?
A: Yes. Users only see the leads and engagement that come through their own links - not anyone else's. So each referrer gets their own pipeline view, and partners never see each other's prospects.

Q: Can an administrator view consolidated analytics across all users?
A: Yes. As the admin/account owner you get the full consolidated view - engagement and leads across every user, demo and workspace. So partners see only their slice, while you see the whole picture.

Q: Does the Partner Center support external referrers or agencies?
A: Yes. Partner Center is built exactly for this - it lets you bring external agencies and referrers into your portal and share selected demos with them. One note: it's currently in internal beta, limited to a few users, and should go public in a week or two. Here's a look at it: https://cln.sh/qLVtFqXR

Q: Does every referrer receive a unique tracked demo link?
A: Yes. Each referrer gets their own unique link, and Dale tracks engagement and forwarding per link - so every view, selection and CTA click is attributed to the right partner.

Q: Can referrer IDs be passed through variables, webhooks or the API?
A: Need clarity on this question

Q: Can a user seat be reassigned later?
A: Yes. Seats aren't permanently locked to a person - you can remove or deactivate a user and reassign the seat to someone else.

Q: Is this GDPR compliant for referral partners? Can each partner access only their own prospect data while the account owner remains the data controller?
A: Yes on both. Each partner accesses only their own prospect data, while you (the account owner) remain the data controller. Dale is GDPR ready, with a DPA available (email [email protected]) and EU data residency available via service ticket after account setup.

So your model - a distributed referral network in place of a conventional sales team - maps cleanly onto Dale, and Tier 3 is the right fit for it.

Thank you — I’m genuinely impressed. Your answers match what I hoped Dalle could support and clearly confirm my interest in Tier 3.

One final question: in this distributed setup, who pays for each partner’s API usage? Can partners use their own API keys, or is all consumption charged to the main account?

Thanks!

Dale's own API (links, webhooks, engagement data) is covered under your account - not charged per partner.

The only bring-your-own-key (BYOK) part is external AI features, and that key sits with the account owner, so consumption is on the main account rather than individual partners.
