Q: Pre Purchase quesion : Stil undecided.
Hi Nizam,
1)I read you mentioning about unlimited workspaces in Tier 4. But isnt Tier 3 also Unlimited workspaces ?
2) Will each branch within a demo be considered against the limit of published demos ? The four tiers have 5/15/30/100.
3)While the workspace itself is unlimited the published demos in each tiers would be a cap isn't it ?
4)In this context, if I am planing to use the embed option for clients for now ( with only one custom domain allowed) , will Tier 3 let me have 3 clients ? . I am assuming if there are branch demos needing 1-2 videos each & if total average videos across demos can be 10 , if you count them as 10 demos , it would mean 3 clients ?
5) trying to understand the math to see how Tier 4 maybe worth investing .
6) How long would you be in appsumo
7) How do you compare with layerpath. Can I combine the two ?

Jul 30, 2026A: Hi - let me work through these properly, since your decision really comes down to the demo math.
1) Tier 3 vs 4 workspaces
A: Both are unlimited, so that's not the deciding factor between them. One thing worth knowing: any future feature may be tagged to a specific tier, which is why I'd recommend the highest tier you can - it's the safest way to get everything as it ships rather than finding a new feature sits a tier above you.
2) Do branches count against the published demo limit?
A: Yes. A branched demo is itself a demo type, so it counts as a published demo, and the underlying Linear/Basic demos it routes to each count too. So a branch setup uses multiple slots - the router plus the demos behind it.
3) Published demos capped per tier:
A: Correct - 5/15/30/100. But it's a live-demo cap, not lifetime: unpublish or delete one and the slot frees up.
Key point on how limits pool: Published demos and contacts are not per workspace - they're per project, one cumulative pool shared across all your workspaces. Unlimited workspaces just lets you organize freely; the demo and contact totals still draw from the single account-wide limit.
4 & 5) The math:
A: Since the cap is cumulative across all clients/workspaces, your "10 demos = 3 clients" logic holds - total published demos vs tier cap. With branches counting individually (router + each underlying demo), your real per-client count is a bit higher than just the videos, so factor that in. Tier 3 = 30 published demos, Tier 4 = 100. Divide by your real per-client count = clients supported. Add-ons for published demos also exist, so you can top up rather than jump tiers if you're close.
So for 3 clients on embed (smart choice - embedded demos show only branding, no domain, all under one account), Tier 3's 30 likely covers you comfortably unless each client needs heavy branching. If you expect to scale past 3 clients or run deep branch trees, Tier 4's 100 gives headroom - and since future features may be tagged to tiers, the highest tier is the safest long-term bet.
6) How long on AppSumo:
A: AppSumo controls campaign timing, so I won't give a date I can't stand behind. It's live now; if you're seriously weighing it, I wouldn't bank on it running indefinitely.
7) Layerpath comparison / combining:
A: Layerpath is solid at interactive tours and walkthroughs. Dale overlaps there but is a broader demo-to-pipeline platform - self-personalization (viewer picks their path and the demo rebuilds), topic-level buying intent, lead scoring, and native CRM push. Can you combine them? not required - as we have an inbuilt walkthrough in Dale, if you want to connect with the Layerpath you can always provide a button to the detailed walkthrough.
Dale's walkthrough capability plus everything around it removes the need to run both.
Hope I answered it in detail.
