I want to create pdf templates which clients can then customize with their own words and/or pictures which will be mapped to fields on the pdf and when done output a personalized pdf for them, can it be done with your software?

A: Hi there,
Using a custom template is currently not possible. The logo can be changed on the PDF files, but that’s pretty much it.
This may be an interesting feature in the future. 🤔 But there are still many more important features we're waiting for. . Yes, a PDF can be sent to one or more admin users, as well as to respondents. But other than having a custom logo on it, we currently don't offer customization options for PDFs.
Hallo, ich finde es ein bisschen schwierig, dass ihr ein deutsches Unternehmen seid, aber das Backend nur auf Englisch verfügbar ist. Besteht denn wenigstens die Möglichkeit, die Texte in einem Fragebogen auf Deutsch zu bekommen (z. B. „Upload a file per drag and drop; 50 MB limit per file“)?

ja, die Texte für das Formular können komplett auf Deutsch sein. Dafür gibt es in den Workspace-Einstellungen Optionen und auch direkt in den Einstellungen für die Felder. Speziell beim Upload-Feld können die Texte direkt in den Einstellungen für das Feld überschrieben/geändert werden.
Da du offenbar schon im Backend unterwegs warst, hättest du das beim Erstellen des Feldes...

I'm not a techie, so if this doesn't make sense, I'm sorry. In my business I have new clients complete a standard intake form. Is there a way to have it automatically be available when they sign up with my booking page? There may also be sensitive data in their replies and was wondering if there was a way to combine the form-making ability of Deftform to make it more private/secure? Is it...

We actually get asked this a lot, since many of our customers use more than one of our products. Unfortunately, we currently don't have a way to combine/interconnect them with each other.
But it's definitely something we plan to explore and see which direct connections would make sense.
Thanks for answering that. I think in the write-up of Deftform, there was something about secure sending of forms once complete - so would it be direct and enough security for an intake form with personal data (not passwords, but health info, for example). Thanks again.

Thank you for answering! So is the emailed pdf a mirror of the form or is it in a generic text file of the form results or something like that?

As mentioned before, you can change the logo at the top. The "1" below the form title is the unique ID within the form.
