To answer directly: no, ElkQR doesn't auto-fetch the destination's Open Graph metadata today. The Social Media Preview under Advanced Settings expects the title, description, and image to be filled in manually. When those fields are empty, the short URL falls back to the QR name and a generic description with no image — which is the behaviour...
Is this is technically feasible ? I would really appreciate seeing it on the ElkQR roadmap ? because manually recreating the original preview for every link is time-consuming.
I’ve noticed that the public roadmap on your website isn’t actively being updated, aside from the updates tab. I assume you have an internal roadmap as well, since you regularly update the platform, and it's well-maintained. Would you mind sharing a rough idea of what you’re planning for the coming months?

You've mistaken something — there is no "updates tab" on our website. Our real roadmap lives at roadmap.elkqr.com where you'll find every shipped update posted regularly. That's the single place we maintain publicly.
As for what's coming next — we can't share that. Every feature decision depends on what customers report through tickets, what shows up in reviews, and where the team decides...
Q: Can i buy this and connect it to claude or fusebase
I have a packing supply shop, I want to connect this to fusebase or claude mcp so it can track my inventory? how much is sold and how much is in stock.

A: Hi,
Quick reality check — ElkQR is a QR code generation and scan-tracking tool. We record how many times a QR was scanned, from where, and on what device. We don't track physical stock, unit counts, or sales quantities, so it wouldn't work as an inventory tracker for your packing supply shop.
For that use case, you'd need a proper inventory management or point-of-sale tool built for stock...
Hi I've modified the language to French for public pages but when I'm creating a QR code for appointments, the schedule is still in English. Is there a way to modify the schedule's language?

A: Hi,
Fixed — the calendar picker now follows your Public Pages Language too. Set your workspace to French and the schedule will show "Août 2026" and "Dim Lun Mar Mer..." instead of the English versions.
Refresh your Booking QR landing page (hard refresh: Cmd+Shift+R / Ctrl+Shift+R) to see it.
Thank you, the dates are in FR, but the time format remains AM/PM. We do not use this format in Europe (except the UK and Ireland). We use the 24-hour format. Would it be possible to change this as well?
And when the user selects the date and time from the calendar and moves on to the page for entering the name, etc., the appointment summary is in EN. Please, is it possible to have it in FR too?
