The product itself has been functioning, which is why I’m not rating this lower. But the buying experience left me feeling pressured, and afterward I honestly felt cheated.

I purchased the Emailit deal when it was marketed as “ending soon,” and then it returned less than a month later. On top of that, I was REQUIRED to buy AppSumo+ to access the deal at the time. After about a month, the deal came back again—this time without requiring AppSumo+.

The pricing difference makes this worse. I paid $360.81 total. If I bought today, it would be roughly $303.61 (based on the tax rate implied by my receipt), about $57.20 less. That includes the price increase from the tier 4 deal, which was $300 and is now $320.

I understand deals can come back, but the combination of the urgency messaging/deal "ending" and a temporary AppSumo+ requirement doesn’t feel transparent.

Thanks for the response. I understand you may not control AppSumo pricing or eligibility, but given the current listing price, it can be less expensive now since AppSumo+ isn't required for purchase.

Item total: $398.00
First purchase discount: -$29.90
AppSumo+ discount: -$26.91
Subtotal before tax: $398.00 - $29.90 - $26.91 = $341.19
Tax charged: +$19.62
Total paid: $341.19 + $19.62 = $360.81

Implied tax rate from my receipt
Tax rate = $19.62 / $341.19 = 0.0575046 (about 5.7505%)

If purchased today (current listing price: $319.00)
Item total today: $319.00
First purchase discount (10%): -$31.90
Subtotal before tax: $319.00 - $31.90 = $287.10
Estimated tax (same rate): $287.10 x 0.0575046 = $16.51
Estimated total today: $287.10 + $16.51 = $303.61

Difference
$360.81 - $303.61 = $57.20 cheaper today (estimated)

This is the core issue behind my review: the deal was presented as “ending soon,” access required AppSumo+ at the time, and then it returned shortly after, without the AppSumo+ requirement, making it cheaper today.

I’ll also email AppSumo support as you suggested to confirm checkout totals and ask them to address the difference.

Emailit has been a great addition to our agency toolkit. Setup was straightforward, deliverability has been solid, and the SMTP/API options give us the flexibility we need for different client projects.

For agencies managing multiple brands or client accounts, the value here is hard to beat, especially as a lifetime deal. Highly recommend for any business looking to streamline their email infrastructure.

I purchased Emailit – License Tier 5 on AppSumo, advertised with 1,000,000 credits per month.
In reality, this product is completely misleading and unusable for any serious email marketing.

🔴 CSV import is limited to 2,500 emails per file.
I have a 60,000-email list, which forces me to manually split the file into dozens of parts. This is ridiculous and totally unprofessional.

🔴 Daily sending limit of 5,000 emails.
With this restriction, it is mathematically impossible to ever use 1 million credits.
This makes the offer deceptive and borderline false advertising.

🔴 Extremely poor and basic interface:

No proper open rate reporting

No click tracking

No clear bounce data

No usable unsubscribe analytics

You don’t even know who unsubscribed or what actually happened to your campaign.

🔴 Huge waste of time.
Instead of focusing on campaigns, you spend your time working around artificial limitations.

Conclusion:
This product does not deliver what is promised.
I am requesting a refund and cancellation. A self-hosted emailing tool on a private server is 100x more powerful and reliable than this solution.

Avoid.

I want to highlight the efficiency of the technical support team. Their response was extremely fast and decisive during the verification process, after which performance improved significantly. The experience has been so solid that I didn't hesitate to upgrade to a higher Tier. It is great to find a service that supports you through technical configuration and provides the confidence needed to invest further in the platform.

Not reliable, so initially the emails were going fine, however after some time our customers started complaining that they are not receiving email.

We later found out that we were put in onboarding pool, and they have this verification process for which they were not transparent upfront. Something like this should be in the dashboard.

Upon reaching to support, their reply was that we should test it before putting into production, which we did btw.

Product has potential, but lack of transparency breaks the trust.
