artsvdoQ: Does the FlyCuts imports wizard natively support importing snippets directly from TextExpander?
I saw the imports wizard is included in the lifetime plan. I currently use TextExpander and want to switch over, but I need to know if the wizard natively pulls in TextExpander snippets and triggers, or if it only supports a generic CSV upload that I would need to reformat myself. Jul 17, 2026A: Good Question. Answer is: CSV upload/download. We don't let them into our app and they don't let us into their app for obvious reasons. They don't allow open APIs to make switching easy. Also, we do 8x more writing functions than text expander with FlyMSG, but they do have features like variables which are coming to a theater near you. Our core focus is productivity increases in several areas: text expansion, social engagement (LinkedIn), AI writing and rewriting anywhere online, AI grammar checking, AI sentence completion, AI auto correcting as you write. These are all areas Text Expander doesn't focus on. We recommend that you try FlyMSG first, using the full 14-day trial, which is a different plan than the AppSumo plan. But it will give you a taste of FlyMSG vs. Text Expander.
