Let's be clear: Formly is good. I was able to create complex forms with variables, a points system, etc. This gives me great satisfaction and has impressed those around me (and my customers). I had to contact their support team, and their response was quick and clear. Very good!

They have a very interesting roadmap, and I can't wait for certain features to arrive (such as being able to put the first and last name fields on a single slide... having to make two slides for that is frankly very annoying).

However, Formly is not without a few bugs: text that disappears on its own, a text cursor that automatically goes to the end of the sentence when I want to correct a word at the beginning... in short, a bit annoying but not insurmountable.

Ultimately, Formly's biggest flaw is its interface: it seems a bit outdated to me, and it lacks some customisation options to make the forms really attractive. As it stands, they are functional. They're not ugly either, they're perfectly presentable... but they're not exactly ‘wow’ either. On the other hand, for connections and logical links, there is no simple graphical interface: everything is done with drop-down lists... and I promise you, you'd better be very well organised to find your way around! To give you an idea, I made a diagram in Freeform on my iPad before I started, because it's impossible to see clearly using only Formly's tools. What's more, if you include a points system, I'm warning you, it's going to be difficult to see clearly where you are. All these flaws cost it its fifth taco.

That said, Formly delivers on its promise. The app works, and I was able to do exactly what I had in mind, so let's not spoil our enjoyment. What's more (and once again), their roadmap announces some very interesting features that I can't wait to see!

For this price, compared to Typeform... frankly, it's worth it. I think that for some things (especially customisation), Formly is not in the same league... but then again, they may not have the same resources, and for the price paid here on AppSumo, it's ultimately a great deal! I recommend it, and I'm following its progress!

I had a great experience with Formly, especially their support team. Once I saw what was possible, it became clear that the higher-tier features are where the real value lies. If you’re using forms for anything beyond the most basic use case, such as client intake, internal workflows, automation, or scaling a business, it’s worth investing in the highest tier upfront rather than limiting yourself later.

Between the responsive support and the feature depth, Formly feels like a solid long-term tool, not just another AppSumo experiment. Highly recommend grabbing the top tier while it’s available.

I just onboarded into Formly and had a terrific experience. Ash from their support team walked me through the platform and its capabilities, and the call made it clear how much thought has gone into the product. I’m excited to start moving some of my more complex forms over from my current provider. Formly looks like it’s going to be a great solution for my work.

I’ve been using Formly for about a week now and I’m really impressed. The tool works smoothly, but the real MVP here is the support team, fast, efficient, and genuinely helpful. They resolved my issue in no time. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll be back with an update after longer use.

Formly is an awesome product! I haven’t used Typeform, so I can’t compare it to that. But this is definitely a powerful platform. Definitely take the demo call. Ash was very helpful in explaining the platform and all of its capabilities.

Regarding support, they were prompt and responsive.
