The biggest issue with GB is lack of reliability. You need to spend the first couple of minutes of any meeting telling your audience to refresh if they lose you. We've even had people ask if we have a zoom link because they are frustrated with audio quality and choppy video. The old bunch of GB groopies who loved the platform but hated the tech issues even spoke about merch such as tshirts with "Just refresh" written on them because that's what you need to do. On going to a room you need to wait anything from 10 to 60 seconds for it to load. No matter what, the user is always blamed - despite having purposely used compressed background images etc. The founder simply says these issues don't happen to his team. That's no way to be when so many of your customers are reporting the same thing. You've seen them leave you for your new competitor who literally built his competing business to address the issues in GB (he was a customer until then!). Richard is a nice guy and GB is a fantastic idea, so the critique here is out of friendly frustration with a product that should be excellent....please Richard, listen to your customers, look at what has happened and work on the reliability of audio and video before anything else. I purchased the software quite a while ago, but I’m still unable to use it. When I use it for meetings, some users can’t log in, and others are kicked off without any action from the host. Some also have trouble hearing clearly. I met with the founder, discussed the issues, and provided a firsthand demonstration with some users. It has been more than a month, and I haven’t heard back; the issues remain unresolved. I like the software and had high expectations for it. I’m currently using Google Meet for my meetings because I’m still unable to use the software, and I don’t encounter these issues there. I am very disappointed with this situation.

Undoubtedly, this is the platform that is a real innovation to the online meeting software industry. I am a top-tier holder, and the only thing I am upset about is the FAVICON. When you connect a SUBDOMAIN, it should also give an option to add a custom favicon just as the logo at the space level. I hope I will be heard soon as it leaves no meaning without the favicon customization that you have at the subdomain and space level customization.

It has allowed me space to create a world for my online meetings. My business shines through my creativity and I can't do that with any other online platform. This is more than Zoom backgrounds; it is like building your own home, but online.

Great:
- Easy to set up. It took perhaps 5 minutes for a basic orientation, and I'm ready for my first meeting on this platform.
- Fun meeting room layouts. Those definitely elevate the meeting.
- Very affordable alternative to Zoom and other meeting platforms. I can probably cancel my other subscription.
- No download necessary on phone. This is huge, especially if you sometimes meet with people who are less tech-savvy and get confused if they first have to download an app.

Only con so far:
I cringe every time I see the logo (I guess it's supposed to be a fried egg?).

A food-related logo coupled with the name Go Brunch makes it seem like this is a restaurant or foodie platform, not a meeting platform. This feels a bit weird when using it for professional meetings.

The logo also makes it harder for me to share this meeting platform with people who are vegans or animal advocates (even though they'd probably love this platform).

The logo shows up every time people connect to a meeting room and is the first thing they see, so this is a bigger deal than it might seem like, both for professionalism and inclusivity.

I think a more neutral logo would be more inclusive and also more reflective of what the app is actually about (better online meetings, not brunching at a restaurant).

So: 4 (or 4.5 stars) as it is, 5 stars if it had a more neutral logo. [EDIT: upgraded my review to 5 stars since the logo can be disabled in many places.]

I hope that's constructive criticism as I really like the idea behind this app as well as its current execution.
