I am writing this for the purpose of helping other decision makers in future.
I had been looking to replace zoom meetings for almost 3 months, and decided to commit to livewebinar in hopes that I can go away from annual zoom fees.

Getting to the point...

Should you get LiveWebinar?
The answer depends on where you live and your standard of living, as well as expectation of a webinar/meeting platform.

LiveWebinar has good features that you will be able to use for casting votes, screen sharing, recording of your videos, and have questionnaires.

However, as someone who travels a lot, I have to prepare you to know that the quality of video you will expect from LiveWebinar is somewhat ok for most 3rd world economies. You can expect somewhat 360/720p quality pixelated videos in your stream and recording (even at their highest settings). In fact, one of the reasons why I will be refunding all my codes is because I was in a meeting and was looking at my partner being all pixelated like as though I was back in the 360p technological era.

I live in a country with one of the fastest internet, and as a business owner of multiple business (one of which is highly involved with online media and camera systems), so internet speed is not an issue in my tests.

During screen share, you can expect things on your screen to appear blurred and pixelated. After about 1-2 seconds, the words/images will start to become clearer until it looks a little fluffy on the sides of the words. This is the best standard you will be expecting.

Other features which are highly important cannot be found on livewebinar, making it impossible for me to port over to this platform:
1) Annotation of my client's screen - This is crucial because your student or other party may not be able to understand your explanation, or may not know what you are trying to ask them to click. Without annotation, you will not be able to draw or point out on their screens what you expect them to do.
2) Screen control - Similar to above, this is crucial. Most of the time, I use this on zoom because in this advanced era, many things are DFY (Do for you), and I want to show them through their own computer, how to get something done.
3) Screen sharing with audio from any website - Livewebinar only allows you to share videos from youtube/vimeo. If you intend to share videos with audio from another website, you will expect your viewers to see a jerky, laggy video. The video will look like it is pausing every second on their screen. Audio is not able to be heard on your viewer's side. (I used a variety of other programs to get this settled, but the video lag issue cannot be solved since it is a system limit within livewebinar).

All in all, this is a program that will work in less developed or developing countries where standards and expectations of your video and internet connection, lags etc are accepted as norm.

I would have given 0 tacos (but minimum is 1). 2 tacos because they have a good response team.

So I bought 2 codes and tried out the tool.

Pros
Basic webinar features worked fine. Had some difficulty to understand the lock and unlock feature in instant meeting room.

Called someone to join my room and was not able to figure out how to enable them to share their screen and their audio video file. Also could not intuitively figure out how to change them to a presenter. Let the room and joined zoom to continue

Recorded the event and the recording quality was fairly poor. Cannot be used for Evergreen webinar or any other purpose. What does that mean - use this to have meetings that have no future reuse requirement. Forget our ignore the evergreen webinar feature.
If you want to reuse your recording then look for an alternate that gives you good high resolution recordings.

This will become an awesome tool if the recording quality can be improved because ultimately that's a critical requirement for evergreen webinar.

When Livewebinar first came to AppSumo in 2019, I bought multiple codes, but reluctantly got them refunded, because even though I really wanted to love it and saw its great potentials, the quality was just not good enough for me, even with 5 codes.
Then it came back some months later, I bought them again because I still needed a webinar app, and Livewebinar sounded really good.
But after trying it out, I was still not happy with the newer version. So I got them refunded again.

Then it came back, I had to check it again, to see if it has improved.
The reviews were all positive for this time around, so I decided to buy a few codes again and checked it out.
I am totally wowed!!!!
Livewebinar has improved so much, it's much easier to navigate and straightforward. I like the simplicity, the new looks, the ease of using it, just what I've been wanting and needing.

I was not sure if it was what I needed and surprise, surprise, it has so much more.

It was easy redeem the code, no problem at stacking either.
Intuitive interface, onboarding and start testing was smooth.
Download recordings seems ok and I found so much features I did not know about.
White board it is going to be so much useful to me!

I am happy finally decided grab it before it was gone.

Only one con for me at this point, I found Portuguese translation option at the room, but not at the dashboard. I am not really sure if it is not there or I did not found though.

Hope forward to test more and put it to run!

I was very satisfied and amazed while testing the different features of livewebinar ... until the moment when I tested one of the essential features for me, screen sharing. A terrible latency, and much more than a lag, impossible to carry out training while sharing the screen. Too bad, I keep it for a few weeks and if this is not resolved, I will have to ask for the refund with regret.

I wasn’t 100% sure about this deal but I thought “why not give it a try?”
And I am not disappointed at all so far.

It took me only few minutes to create my account, create a permanent room and embed it on my website to get it up and running.

+ The UI is translated in my language (although not perfect, it’s understandable)
+ Friendly and comprehensive interface
+ embedding events on a website
+ templates in the meeting room
+ good for 1 on 1 and group

I've been using and relying on LiveWebinar now for over a year and a half. The platform has evolved into something really fantastic. I'm so impressed with all the ways the team has kept improving things, from the broadcast streaming quality to the reliability of the connections.

The support team is fantastic. They're real people and will let you know what is possible and what isn't, but I've found them to be very willing to help out where they can.

🔊I can say I am glad I grabbed not 1 but 3 codes when I saw it here on Appsumo again.
I was always checking...like everyday lol to see if it would show up again.
I have several other streaming platforms but not one that could do webinars...I have a paid zoom and hardly used it...guys you cant go wrong with livewebinar or any of the appsumo LIFETIME DEALS.
The video and audio quality is excellent, adding images as slides and other items is very easy.

👉🏾Con: Nothing pops up on the screen for you to see when participants enters the webinar (please add this element) the knocking is kind of frustrating after awhile...with background music persons can get lost and leave the meeting.

Llevo usando Livewebinar unos tres años. En este tiempo he realizado sobre todo reuniones grupales con gente de diversos puntos de Europa y América del sur y norte

He compaginado su uso con herramientas por todos conocidas, para ver cuál es mejor para evitar los problemas que suelen darse sobre todo a las personas que se conectan desde Sudamérica. Liwebinar ha sido el ganador, por encima de zoom, Google Meet, Airmeet y cualquier otra de las que hemos probado.

Teniendo en cuenta la gran cantidad de características que ofrece, calidad, funcionalidad y precio, en mi opinión es la mejor oferta existente en el mercado.

Yo lo tengo integrado en mi web y personalizado para mi marca. A la hora del encuentro el cliente o clientes llegan, introducen la contraseña y listo, Sin necesidad de descargas o andar buscando enlaces en el e-mail en el último momento. Esto da una gran profesionalidad a mi sitio.

En el tiempo que yo lo conozco el equipo ha seguido trabajando en mejoras. No todas las que nos gustaría ver, sobre todo en cuanto a ciertas modernizaciones visuales. Tal vez no es un equipo muy grande como para poder ir más deprisa, pero tiene motivación y un gran producto que sigue mejorando poco a poco.

Como punto negativo, el manejo se hace bastante lioso, sobre todo para quien lo usa por primera vez. Creo que requiere un auténtico rediseño de la interfaz. Las plantillas para los webinars no son atractivas visualmente, sobran elementos y se ven anticuadas.

En las reuniones me gustaría poder desaparecer de la pantalla todo el tiempo. Esto es algo que me gusta mucho como hace Whereby, así como su interfaz sencilla y limpia, pero no he logrado en Liwebinar.

Hay que mejorar el broadcasting a la redes sociales, que sea posible retransmitir eventos pregrabados, con chat, por ejemplo.

En cualquier caso, Liwebinar es una de las mejores herramientas en su género, y es una lástima que no sea mucho más conocida.

Ánimo a todo el mundo a aprovechar esta oferta para probarlo y decidir. Una de las mejores propuestas de Appsumo de este año sin dudarlo.

Seeing that the deal is leaving, we want to leave a review for others.
We bought LiveWebinar in Jan 2020, hardly used it as it looked complicated and forgot it.
Then we came back to it as it reappeared on AppSumo.
Oh! We didn't know we had a hidden Gem!
The video quality is very good, and we are discovering nice functions like the Whiteboard, the wake-up attendees bell, the editing in chat, the auto translation in chat...
We used Skype, Google Meet, Run the World, Hopin before, but now we stick to LiveWebinar.
The quality of the recording is very good and can be downloaded for free space on the account.

What could be improved:
- the onboarding of new customers.
- The icons should have a text explaining the function.
- On the dashboard, make the functions more obvious.
- The marketing: apart from AppSumo, we had never heard of LiveWebinar! (No ads, no affiliate program, no buzz)
- Their YouTube channel is messy with Polish and English videos.
- Even on laptop 15" screen, some functions don't appear if we don't zoom out.
- The support should be instant via chat, not with tickets which are slow and lost in the mailbox. When a problem occurs during a meeting, we want a solution right away!
- It seems that there is a language barrier between Polish and English. A native speaker should be hired in the team.

Conclusion: It is a VERY GREAT TOOL, but they don't know how to tell the world.

I bought the max amount of codes over 2 years ago and regretted it ever since.

The quality of the recordings are at 1080p, but at a measlly 1mbps bitrate, which means that your recording will be a pixelated video. It's so bad that you can't even read text when you're screen sharing.

I've sent messages to support on more than one occasion to see if they'd be open to increasing it, and they've always replied that it's not possible. The most recent conversation the support rep even had the nerve to tell me that bitrate has nothing to do with recording quality.

I DO NOT recommend LiveWebinar at all if you're looking to record your meetings/events and expect that you'll get some decent quality for repurposing at a later date.

Let's get to the meat of the review. I had two of my old favorite webinar providers - each served a different purpose for my uses. I used Demio and Zoom on a weekly basis over the last few years. I have left BOTH of the platforms for LiveWebinar.

I have purchased a lot of lifetime deals, but I consider webinar software THE most critical to any online business. (or at least mine) LiveWebinar does what it should and makes it easy to do business.

All of us have tried to trim the fat in our monthly/yearly subscriptions - Why should you or I continue to pay a monthly or yearly fee when you can jump on this deal before it is gone for good!

If you are doing an application that is exposed to a sumo app you must have real application testers. They are simply not here!

The help is average and the answers are laconic and not customer-oriented. If you see an application error and report it to a service technician, he should be glad that he can fix it, and not write that he will direct it to the appropriate department, where the topic will die a natural death without a solution.

The application has a very good chance of being good, but it needs to be refined.

If you change something in the room, strange errors appear in English, which the service does not want to translate. Even in English, this error is unclear. Only after contacting the service do we find out what needs to be done. Such things should not occur!

The UIX of the app is weak. It is not known intuitively where to change what. As if the child was playing with programming. Here I put it, and here it is. Without a thorough analysis of the documentation, you can't move on, and that's not the point. The styling of the room is outrageous. Nothing is known about what is going on, and things are not translated in a given language as the author says it is.

Generally more listening to people, and the application will be simple. If you start to ignore them the way it is now, I don't bode well for the future. I am waiting for changes and depending on this, I will decide whether to withdraw the purchase or not. Application testers with the skills to create a nice UiX are needed!

I like the idea of Live Webinar, but they have some things they need to work on to really make the program more useful for buyers. For example, no matter how many codes you stack with the Appsumo offer, you cannot monetize your webinars because of technical reasons. That makes the program useless for me because I do charge for some of my webinars. There is no date in sight as to when this issue will be fixed, so be aware of this. If you don't monetize your webinars, no problem. I also didn't understand why if I were able to get paid tokens for my account, I was limited to 300 when I had more seats for participants than that. It seems like if I paid to have more subscribers the amount of paid tokens should match the number of subscribers. I will keep Live Webinar in mind if they fix the issues brought to their attention through reviews like mine and others.

I've used Teams, Zoom, GoToWebinar/GoToMeeting, WebEx, Hangouts, etc. Now I've also used LiveWebinar and I can say that it's interface is as clean as GoToWebinar/GoToMeeting, as flexible as Zoom, and more intuitive than WebEx. I don't dislike any of the other products/services mentioned, I'm simply saying that if I could have gotten a lifetime deal on Zoom years back, I would have. If I could have gotten a lifetime deal on GoToWebinar years back, I would have. Now that I was able to get a lifetime deal on LiveWebinar, I did! All brands mentioned have refined and improved their products over time, and continued to deliver customer service better than or equal to their historical records as such, and those are some of the marks of a solid product from a reliable organization. I watched a video two years old that showed the interface and functions of LiveWebinar back in 2019, and they have improved A LOT of their features and capabilities. That means they listen, they take action, and it will only get better. Don't miss this deal. It's a terrific opportunity. Just get it, try it, and see for yourself. You'll be glad you did.

I bought 6 codes in order to have three concurent sessions + 500 participants. And I was impressed with the functionalities. The team has changed the old dashboard and the new one is cleaner, I like it.
- I had a problem with the permanent room limits, So I contacted the support, they answered few hours later but they solved it for me (shout out to Maciej from support team).
I also bought the tool because I was looking for a webinar tool that offers language simultaneous interpreting, and livewebinar has it as an addon (15$/m), which is fine as I am planning to use the tool for international events where I will assign interpreters to work with us.
I bought the addon, and I was so disapointed on the way the functionality was implemented.

I think the technical team has no idea how interpreting works. I am a professional interpreter myself and I work as a freelancer in international events, and the online interpreting we used to do through Zoom respects the standards of interpreting.
What I mean here is the ability for the participants to select another language and beying able to listen to the interpreting in their own language. So the selected option is the channel (the language), and not the interpreter himself. All the interpreters of the world follow the same standards, they are at least two interpreters working to each language, because the interpreter can focuse for 20 to 25 minutes, no more, and then ge has to let his boothmate (another interpreter) take his turn. And it works smoothly and both interpreters speak in the same channel, but not in the same time. That's how it works in real life, and even in the Zoom webinars that replaced many international events since the beginning of COVID-19 era.

Livewebinar doesn't work like this,the selection is not by language, it is by interpreter.
Livewebinar allows the host to assign interpreters from the audience and select a language for the interpreter. So if you have two interpreters from english to arabic, you will select them both for arabic. But this doesn't mean that they are on the same channel. What will happen for the participants, is that they won't be able to select arabic language and listen to all interpreters in arabic language. No, they have to select the interpreter's name, and they will listen to him, only to him. And as I said, this is impossible because there is no interpreter on earth that can interpret for more than 30 minutes, unless you want him to lose his mind. So shall the participants wait for each interpreter to finish his turn and then they go select another one, but they have to find who will take his turn, and then another one, and they keep switching between the same language interpreters.
Sorry but it is not usable, at all !
Am really disappointed cause you were able to achieve this technically, but you had to ask people from the field to understand how to apply it according to the interpretation standards.

Yes, I know it a webinar platform, and I'll use it for that, but most of my communications I don't need all that functionality... and am really impressed with the open meeting room. I'm excited to try it for our church as well as we've been using Zoom for meetings and Sunday School and streaming through vmix to restream but need to get the feed on our site every broadcast as well... it really looks like this is ticking a lot of boxes for myself and the needs of our church. Hi Sumolings!!

After buying my first code and tested the tool, I was happy really, and decided to but my second code, in order to be able to make personal branding to the Room. The bad news was that when you customize the room, you are involuntarily changing the email colours.

I asked KiveWebinar to learn how many codes were needed to be able to have white brand of the tool (they call it enterprise), and once the bad news is that for sumolings, there is no option to get enterprise version with codes.

Releated to the UX with the tool, I can say that it works really good, the latence is very low, and the quility on line is also good.

The possiblities of getting all your presentation files, is very well resolved, so I can recommend to use the tool. After living my bad experience with the no chance email personalziation, perhaps i really would use only one code, but sincerely speaking, its a good tool to begin.

That's why I decided to give just 3 tacos to the tool. Its a good tooll but the sumolings offer its pretty short for those who are looking for a lifetime tool to make all...
