A: The custom domain (White Label URL) is visible both: ✅ in reports shared externally, ✅ and inside the platform – meaning that if you or your clients log in via your custom domain, the entire experience (interface, login, branding) is fully white-labeled, without any Rating Captain branding.
Additionally – and this is especially useful:
✅ The White Label URL also applies to the Rank Tracker. So you can share the position map with your clients using your custom domain — for example: youragency.yourbrand.com/rankmap/clientname
This feature is included in Tier 5, allowing you to offer a completely branded reporting experience across both static reports and live tools.
I have a question about the 1,000 keyword limit included with the Tier 5 package. If I have a brand with hundreds or even thousands of locations, does that 1,000 keyword cap apply to the entire account across all locations, or is it 1,000 keywords per location?
Also, how does this work for businesses that operate in specific service areas but don’t have physical brick-and-mortar locations? How are local listings managed or added for each of those service area locations?
A: ✅ The 1,000 keyword limit applies to the entire account, not per location. So if you have hundreds or thousands of locations, the keyword tracking will need to be distributed across those based on how you choose to allocate them.
For example:
100 locations × 10 keywords each = 1,000 total
Or 50 locations × 20 keywords each, etc.
You can group and manage keyword sets flexibly depending on priority or performance goals.
As for service-area businesses (without a physical storefront), it’s important to note:
📍 We require a specific location to be set (e.g., a city or address) for each listing in order to track local rankings. The system does not support area outlines or radius-only targeting — so each tracked location needs a defined map point.
If you operate across multiple service areas without separate Google Business Profiles, the best approach is to define representative points within each area and track keywords from there.
A: There isn’t a public API available at the moment, but the platform is white-label ready.
We also support integration with Looker Studio, so you can easily build your own custom reports or dashboards if that's what you’re aiming for. Let me know if you’d like help getting that set up!
Q: Do all locations have to be from the same business?
We have a client with 8 locations but each is branded slightly differently. Just want to make sure we would be able to use this for all their locations.
A: You can connect as many accounts and profiles as you want — there’s no hard limit on how many locations you add in total.
However, on Tier 4 you can have up to 50 locations active at the same time for management (e.g. reporting, responding to reviews, publishing posts, etc.). You can switch them in and out anytime.
Q: White Label
Is the custom domain only visible in reports, or can anyone inside the platform also see it?

May 9, 2025A: No problem at all — each location can be managed individually, but you can also group them and manage as a unified brand if needed.
So whether your client’s 8 locations are slightly differently branded or fully aligned, you can handle them however works best for your workflow.
