Q: Is this a bug, or is it just because I'm using your free tool on your website?
I decided to test your rank tracker on your website. I understand that, since it's a trial or just a free preview, it doesn't reveal every position. However, I've noticed that some results near the target location show as position 20, when they should probably be in position one or two. I know this isn't accurate because, instead of showing local businesses in Pennsylvania, it displays businesses located in California. Is this a bug, or could it be an issue related to using the free tool on your website rather than the full version? I'm just curious.
I do think your tool is great, and I do want to full stack it. I just wanted to check in with you about this first.
It seems that Local Rank Tracker would not be a good fit as a "free report" lead generation tool for an agency, as the only way to generate a Whitelabeled report is to have Manager Level access to the Google My Business location on the connected Google Account. If you're not a Manager, then you cannot generate a report. Do I have that correct?
I’m fairly certain the answer is that you need manager access to the Google My Business (GMB) account to generate a whitelabeled report. However, your free lead generation tool works by simply searching for a local business without requiring GMB access, and it still seems to track rankings effectively. I’m curious about how this works as well.
I did sign up for a trial and verified that both the reporting and the tracking require you do have owner level access of the GMB listing. So the lead generation potential for this tool is low.
Q: What happens when Google adds or deletes tools for GMB.
I know this happens frequently, and I wanted to know How you address these evergoing changes with your platform?
Our platform is fully integrated with the official Google Business Profile API, so any changes made by Google (such as adding or removing features/tools) are automatically tracked on our end. We monitor all updates to the API and adapt our application accordingly to ensure compatibility and continuity of service.
In short: whenever Google makes a change, we adjust — so you don’t have to worry about disruptions.

Q: How to track Keywords? If I have 100 article posts with 100 keyword/phrases, do I need the tier for 100 Keywords?
PawelBurda
May 20, 2025A: The keyword limit in each tier refers to the total number of keywords you can track at one time, not per month.

Are the Keywords allotted PER MONTH, or are they the TOTAL keywords allowed to be tracked altogether?? Thanks for clarifying!
they the TOTAL keywords allowed to be tracked altogether
