Not what we signed up for

The platform has changed numerous times with no communication to subscribers. Now, credits are needed to create designs. There are no longer templates, so it appears you are forces to purchase credits.

Support is non existent. There is no human that joins the chat (despite the "some from our team will be with you shortly" message). You do not approve FB posts on your page, and barely provide updates on your page.

We purchased the LTD so we would save time. Over the past year, this platform has become so time consuming, and with each update/change comes more time needed since there is no communication with subscribers. We are just thrown into the platform to figure it out ourselves.

It started with a simple, effective interface, and has become a completely different product with a horrible U/X.

Change of plans?

If you now want to sell credits, the least you can do is give us the option to use our own API key; this completely changes the purpose of the initial sale, imposes excessive usage limits, and renders the tool practically inefficient, as it generates a lot of content unrelated to the project we created.

A well-designed and efficient content workflow tool, with strong visuals and automation — but AI features that still need refinement.

--->> Overall impression:
At this stage, I am very satisfied with Marky. The overall quality of its features is high, and the tool feels solid and well designed.

--->> What I Value Most
1. Visual creation & templates
The biggest strength for me is not AI text generation, but the ability to quickly create professional visuals using pre-built templates. The process is fast, intuitive, and efficient.

2. Workflow & publishing system
Marky is well thought out in terms of workflow.

- Easy post editing and review
- Clear draft management
- Organized “post tank” for scheduling
- Multi-platform publishing and automation

Other tools offer similar features, but here everything works smoothly and remains simple. It’s not overloaded — it focuses on what matters.

--->> AI Capabilities – Mixed Experience
While AI is a major selling point of the platform, my experience has been different:
The generated content is not strong enough to publish without manual editing.
Even when I provide detailed instructions and context, the AI does not consistently follow them.
When I work directly with ChatGPT outside of Marky, the results are significantly better and more aligned with my expectations.
For now, I prefer creating my content in a dedicated AI conversation where I can fully control quality and output.

--->> Concerns About Credits & AI Expansion
I am slightly concerned about the increasing focus on AI features, especially with the addition of Markimax.
I tested it, and the results did not meet my expectations.
It consumes a large number of credits.
This creates tension with the original lifetime deal promise, since intensive AI usage now requires buying additional credits.

That said, I understand that AI usage has real infrastructure costs (servers, data processing, computing power). In that sense, credit consumption may be unavoidable.

--->> Conclusion
Marky is a strong, well-designed, and practical tool — especially for visual creation, workflow management, and post automation.
Its AI capabilities, however, are not yet strong enough (for me) to replace external AI tools for high-quality content creation.
Despite some concerns about credit usage, I remain satisfied overall.

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for highlighting the areas where Marky has been most valuable for you!

We appreciate the honest feedback on our AI capabilities and are continually working to improve output quality and instruction following. Regarding credits, we understand the concern and have since moved LTD users to a monthly replenishing credit allocation based on community feedback....

The "Lifetime" bait-and-switch. Roadmap pivots that gut the deal.

I didn’t buy a Lifetime Deal to watch the founders slowly dismantle it. MyMarky is the poster child for why Sumo-lings are becoming wary of the platform.

We were promised a social media automation tool, but what we got is a disappearing act of features and a constantly shifting roadmap. The latest "update" is the most offensive: moving to a non-replenishing credit system for Tier 3 users. Giving us 400 credits that "do not replenish" is not a Lifetime Deal—it’s a trial with an expiration date.

Every time I try to run a workflow or generate an image (using the lackluster Nano Banana), I’m essentially paying to beta-test a product that can’t even maintain basic stability. In my Mrs Meadow Snow workspace, I’ve dealt with constant disconnects and failed posts on Facebook and TikTok. Instead of fixing the core infrastructure, the team is busy "innovating" new ways to charge us for additional credits once our initial bundle is consumed.

Bottom line for the founders: Changing the roadmap to nerf LTD tiers while expecting us to "purchase additional credits" is a violation of the spirit of AppSumo. You took our early-adopter capital to build your product, then pulled the rug out once you decided you’d rather have subscribers.

Advice to Sumo-lings: Stay away. This isn't a tool; it's a credit-drainer with a roadmap that changes whenever the founders need more cash.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking back, we agree that our rollout of credits could have been smoother, and we could have done a better job explaining the changes.

A couple of important clarifications:

1. Credits are only used for AI image generation and AI video generation. None of our core social media scheduling, publishing, or automation features consume credits. Credits are only used on new,...
