The "Lifetime" bait-and-switch. Roadmap pivots that gut the deal.
I didn’t buy a Lifetime Deal to watch the founders slowly dismantle it. MyMarky is the poster child for why Sumo-lings are becoming wary of the platform.
We were promised a social media automation tool, but what we got is a disappearing act of features and a constantly shifting roadmap. The latest "update" is the most offensive: moving to a non-replenishing credit system for Tier 3 users. Giving us 400 credits that "do not replenish" is not a Lifetime Deal—it’s a trial with an expiration date.
Every time I try to run a workflow or generate an image (using the lackluster Nano Banana), I’m essentially paying to beta-test a product that can’t even maintain basic stability. In my Mrs Meadow Snow workspace, I’ve dealt with constant disconnects and failed posts on Facebook and TikTok. Instead of fixing the core infrastructure, the team is busy "innovating" new ways to charge us for additional credits once our initial bundle is consumed.
Bottom line for the founders: Changing the roadmap to nerf LTD tiers while expecting us to "purchase additional credits" is a violation of the spirit of AppSumo. You took our early-adopter capital to build your product, then pulled the rug out once you decided you’d rather have subscribers.
Advice to Sumo-lings: Stay away. This isn't a tool; it's a credit-drainer with a roadmap that changes whenever the founders need more cash.

Platform is not fit for service, and credits are taken for processes that don't work
Platform not fit for purpose. Avoid.
Marky.ai is not fit for service. We purchased an “unlimited” lifetime account, yet random credit limits were later introduced without notice. Worse, credits are deducted for processes that do not work at all—no outputs generated, no results delivered.
We spent hours building and reviewing strategy inside the platform, only to have all outputs lost due to system failures. When this was raised, the bare minimum response would have been to restore credits so the work could be redone. The team refused.
To make matters worse, we were explicitly told the issue was fixed two days ago. It wasn’t. The same failures persisted.
This has been a significant waste of time, operationally disruptive, and deeply disappointing. Introducing limits after selling “unlimited” access, charging for broken processes, losing user work, and then refusing remediation shows a lack of accountability and trustworthiness.
Proceed with extreme caution.

Marky is a great tool, the team is good but they introduced credits
I’ve been using the product for the past month and I’m impressed with how quickly it’s evolving. The team is responsive, regularly releases new features, and the support has been fantastic.
However, I do have some concerns. Recently, they introduced a system of AI credits, but AppSumo users don’t receive any recurring credits. This is misleading, as many of the new features require these credits, and it’s currently not possible to generate AI videos even though the AppSumo deal explicitly advertises “AI-generated video.”
Additionally, according to support: "no plans of developing BYOK feature yet. But they are considering it."

Bought lifetime tier 2, now only have 200 credits
Bought tier 2 before. Now just recently discovered only 200 credits are given one time. It's even lower than the tier 1 plan >.<
Sigh. Guess it's time to make our own tools.

Another appsumo tool introducing monthly cost for credits.
Giving lifetime users a 1 time small batch of credits that will run out defeats the purpose of lifetime subscriptions and takes away from what appsumo is for. Happens to almost everything I buy these days and really makes me consider never buying again from here
