Mymemo is the worst app I have ever purchased on appsumo. I have been trying to use this app for few years now. Developer doesn’t care about app works or not. Most of the time app stays offline. Developers doesn’t care. It’s just a cash grab.
This is very sad to say but I have been trying to use this for quite some time now. Most of the time the app stays offline, throws error all the time, it’s not able to summarise most of the links, doesn’t save some times. While sometimes it’s gets online, then it automatically logs out frequently. Extremely frustrating to use, every single time. Makes my day miserable.

Support arrived after 5 Days to fix problem.
Update (23May26) - support finally got back to me at 5 days from original enquiry. Fixed problems and re linked my previous files as I couldn't see anything in my account. Raised from 1 Taco to 3 Tacos to reflect turnaround. I did email the support mailbox and got the really slow response. Still love the application and use it lots.
Update (14May26) - nightmare, major problems no support 4 days since original support email sent, they are opening them but no response back, now have lost previous notes from account and chrome plugin doesn't work and all previous folders gone. So bad 3 Codes wasted.
When it works great. When you run into problems and contact support you don't even get an auto response telling you they are working to fix the problem (basic customer care). They can talk about lots of emails, but my mail client can tell when the emails I sent were opened and no response (with all the AI software out there this is just sloppy to not respond). Read about them letting their domain lapse (basic business admin fail). Now the update has broken the web app and the chrome browser plugin doesn't sync and my Ultra profile shows as on the free plan. I bought in round one on appsumo and they are back here. Just thought it was worthwhile to reach out here to the other Sumolings and let them know about the poor service that I've received so far. Other than that, I still like the concept, but as other people have said, it hasn't really moved on a lot in development. Maybe they've been fixing bugs and fixing things in the background, but other than that, I don't really see much front-end customer-facing improvements in how the business is running. Having all the bells and whistles in the app is one thing, but when the system breaks, that's when you really need to have good customer support to keep your customers feeling like they're your number one priority. Unfortunately, with MyMemo AI, that isn't what I feel.

A good assistant for UX engineer
MyMemo offers a compelling approach to the "second brain" concept by prioritizing seamless information retrieval over the manual organization that often plagues productivity tools. For a UX engineer, the platform’s value lies in its ability to dramatically reduce cognitive load; by transforming static PDFs, technical documentation, and video content into a conversational knowledge base, it eliminates the need for complex tagging systems or nested folders. From a design perspective, it successfully implements an "invisible UI" where the AI handles the heavy lifting of synthesis, allowing you to bypass the friction of information fragmentation and move straight to the application of data.

Abandoned app
app. If you go into iOS, you'll see that the last update was 5 months ago... and for two years it's been nothing but bug fixes; not a single improvement! No more comments needed...

Review after developer response: I regret to say that the improvements (not the bug fixes) are not noticeable for users like me. I was encouraged to write this review because I read your responses to users. Since I purchased the subscription, I constantly delete and reinstall the app to see if there have been any advances, but the key issues remain the same, especially the slowness in generating the summaries, when I’m lucky enough for it to do so. I’m not talking about long-form content. My dashboard is full of titles without summaries and many "podcasts" that I never requested and cannot disable.

May 9, 2026Thanks for your support and feedback.
We’re actually pushing a major new version update tomorrow. The product itself has been very stable for quite a long time, so most recent visible App Store updates were bug fixes rather than large UI changes.
Both our iOS and Android apps use a cloud-connected architecture, so many improvements and feature updates happen server-side and won’t always appear...
