Strange I cant add my own funds to buy plus membership
I had to write mail to renew membership but strange I cannot renew my membership from my own funds I have $400+ in my funds and credits but they want to add another $100 to renew. What? Why can I not use my funds whereever i want to? I planned not to renew if I not allowed to use my funds.

Jan 28, 2026Hey! Thanks so much for taking the time to share this. Just to clarify: AppSumo credits can be used on Marketplace deals, but they can’t be applied toward a Plus membership. Since Plus is a subscription, it needs to be paid with a credit or debit card through our payment processor, which is why your account balance isn’t available at renewal.
The good news is your $400+ in credits is still safe...

Not the happiest camper!
This is my second round of Plus. I thought as long as you are Plus you could get as many SFox and King Sumos as you want. So I sign for Plus but still have to pay for SF, & KS, after one free one each lay first year of Plus? Oh and I am paying for the Empire Add On for SFox and besides being able to have more than one Landing Page, I can't see why I should pay $10 a month for this. Next, King Sumo. I had a free copy before. I used it for a few different Giveaways within my different stuff. So I buy KSumo for 50 and the only different that I can tell is you can change the logo. You should be able to get as many SFox and KSumos as you want if you are a Plus member. You should even be able to get a few TidyCals as well. I ought several things my first year of Plus and really haven't seen anything compelling on AppSumo for over a year. I figured to be able to take out a few copies of SF & KS it would be worth it but that is not the cse. But I love AppSumo and appreciate the SF, KS, TidyCal, Breeze, FormRob Revolution, but all AppSumo apps really should be free several rounds of them if you are Plus.

Not sure what I'm getting.
Hey there,
I gave you guys a 1x taco review because I'm not sure what I'm getting with AppSumo Plus... I only got it to buy a specific app for my business, and I'm not sure about the value that a Plus membership gets me.
You asked me to rate the Plus membership and I know it's not a glowing review, however I do love AppSumo. I think you guys are doing a great job with providing startups or smaller software companies a platform to sell their products and iterate. For the buyer: the opportunity to buy lifetime access (in most cases) to software is amazing.
