Great pitch, rough product, no follow-through

I really don't get the love for this product, so I'll assume I'm the one missing something.

The output isn't great. Every template I've used produces considerable mistakes. Carousels come back with typos, then I burn 500 to 600 credits trying to fix them and get the classic "Oops, my bad" each time. My first day chewed up nearly all of my credits. The beta features don't work well either. On the onboarding call, he couldn't get them to work.

For the work I do, I can't see how this beats Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.

I did sit in on a workshop Zoom they ran, and it showed some real capability. But literally every five seconds they pushed people to book a strategy call with their team. So I booked one. Nobody showed up. No email, no follow-up, nothing. I posted about it in their Skool community, which seems all but dead. Still nothing. Sat waiting at our scheduled time, nobody showed up. Emailed support, no response.

I also didn't know there was a BYOK option. That would have been worth knowing up front. Maybe then I'd have been willing to slog through the rest. I can't understand paying for this, a system that eats credits/usage, and for all my other subs that work equally well or better.

So, all these reviews. Maybe I'm missing something. I just haven't found it yet. I tried, they never showed up, or responded.

Really Cool Tool for Marketing Content

I’ve been using Poppy for my marketing content and really like it so far. The visual board is probably my favourite part. I can put my ideas, images, and reference videos all in one place, which makes it much easier to see everything and figure out what I want to create.

Also helped me come up with content ideas much faster. I don’t have to keep switching between different tools or tabs all the time.

Really cool tool and definitely worth trying if you create social media content.

Oh, Super enamorada

Great concept, but the credit system FOR THE SAME PDF needs urgent improvement

Great concept
Poppy AI has a lot of things I genuinely like. The visual board approach is very useful, especially when working with different sources and trying to organize research, ideas, documents, videos, and content in one place. The overall concept is excellent for content creation, research, marketing, educational material, and building workflows around source material.

One area, however, seriously weakens the experience: the way credits are consumed when working with attached documents.

When a PDF remains connected to a chat, its content is processed again with every new AI message. THIS MEANS THAT A LONG DOCUMENT CAN REPEATEDLY CONTRIBUTE TO CREDIT CONSUMPTION EVEN WHEN THE SOURCE ITSELF HAS NOT CHANGED.

For users who work with large PDFs, manuals, educational material, research papers, transcripts, or other long-form resources, this can make credits disappear surprisingly quickly. A workflow that naturally requires several follow-up questions can become much more expensive than expected simply because the same source content is being processed repeatedly.

This is not just a small pricing detail. It directly affects how freely and effectively the platform can be used for serious research and content workflows.

Poppy would be significantly stronger IF UPLOADED DOCUMENTS COULD BE INDEXED ONCE and then referenced more efficiently in subsequent questions, RATHER THAN REPEATEDLY CONSUMING CREDITS for the SAME UNCHANGED MATERIAL.

The product itself has a very strong concept and a lot of potential, and the visual workflow is one of its biggest strengths. But the current document-related credit consumption is an important weakness that should be improved, because it can make otherwise normal usage unnecessarily expensive.

. This is the ONLY but very serious reason what i give 3 stars. When you cure this please let me know and immediately I will raise my review to 5 stars.

Very cool tool

Allows me to pull in various content and convert it to different formats so I can repurpose in my voice.
