A Strong Start with Reelify — Excited for What’s Next
Reelify nails a fast, intuitive editor that makes clips shine with smart captioning and a clean export path. The team is actively listening and iterating based on user feedback
What could be better: Caption toolkit: add trending prompts, more typography options, and better line-wrapping controls. Editor-export compatibility: smoother, direct exports or presets for Final Cut/Premiere. Filler-word removal: introduce adjustable sensitivity for cutting filler words. Subject isolation features: presets to quickly isolate subjects or objects for targeted edits. Stability: improved autosave and a clear processing status for longer sessions.
Final thought: Great product with a bright roadmap. Looking forward to see how these tweaks unlock even faster, more precise workflows.
I usually don't leave a review this early, but honestly, if this product continues to work even for just a year, it's absolutely worth it. The amount of bandwidth saved alone is worth it, and since it's local, knowing that credit costs or something silly won't affect it down the road is awesome.
I put a few different types of videos through it and they all produced very useable results. Building content around the idea of using this app will save me a ton of time in the future.
I hope the founder keeps working on it, because this is shaping up to be one of the best deals in my many deals bought here over the years.

Thank you so much for this, Steven, means a lot. The exact reason behind building Reelify this way was to remove the usual anxiety around credit limits, so creators never have to worry about them again.
Creators don’t make content by watching a minute counter, so they shouldn’t have to clip videos while being billed by one either. That’s why Reelify has no limits, so you can create and post daily...
I genuinely enjoyed testing this tool. Right out of the gate, their support impressed me I made a mistake with my email address, reached out, and heard back within 10 minutes. That kind of responsiveness says a lot about a team.
Clipping isn't something I do heavily, but Reelify AI is exactly the kind of tool that could change that for me. It lowers the barrier to getting started without locking me into a monthly subscription on someone else's platform. That's what drew me to this deal in the first place.
I'm running it on an M1 Mac from 2020 and it works just fine — no complaints there. Will it match the output quality of credit-based online clippers right now? Probably not across the board. But I think that gap closes over time, and I'm betting on this team to get there.
I did a full long-form review on my channel if you want to see it in action. My honest take: this is a solid tool for where it stands today, and I'm satisfied with what I got. Some people may look at the current limitations and knock off a taco I understand that. But for my use case and the direction this is heading, 5 tacos is exactly where I land. I'm looking forward to watching it improve. Video is here if you're interested : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SyU4KZy0EE
Reelify is a solid tool that delivers on its main promise of turning long videos into short clips quickly.
The AI is genuinely helpful at finding good moments, and the time savings are real.

Pros:
The biggest advantage is that I can process as many videos as I want without worrying about credits or limits.
The processing is fast, taking approximately 90 seconds to analyse a long video.
The clips come with automatic captions, which saves me hours of work.
I can use this for commercial projects without extra fees.
The quality of the clips is good enough to post directly. Since everything happens on my Mac, I can work offline without the internet.
My videos stay completely private because nothing leaves my computer. The tool is easy to use, even for people who are not good with technology.
The AI finds interesting moments like hooks and emotional peaks instead of just picking random loud parts.
Cons:
The biggest limitation is that it only works on newer Macs with Apple Silicon chips (M1 or newer) and macOS 13 or later.
If you have an older Intel Mac or use Windows, you cannot use this at all. The tool is best for talking-head content, so if your videos are mostly visual without dialogue, it will not work well.
I've been trying to make a smooth version of this on my own using OpenClaw and like most of us who don't know how to vibe code correctly spend more time fixing it then using it. As soon as I saw this I knew it was the product I was hoping my simple in house tool was supposed to be. If you can't make it, join em and I'm happy to have made this purchase.
It works as good as it needs to. No AI clipper is ever going to be good enough to post in one shot, BUT this gives you the extra tools that all online ai clippers don't and it's the thing I was building as well. A simple +/- feature to extend or subtract the clip. AI does a good enough job with finding a good hook, but sucks at starting and ending the clips, this solves that.
It's clunky right now, you don't get to see a full preview of what your clip will look like, but it does good enough.
Where it needs immediate improvement is in the captions. Right now I can only select middle or bottom position and it goes straight through the head of the second speaker on the podcast I just clipped. Please make that moveable and/or make it a true center positioning so it's in between the dual crop setting (which is fire btw). For now I'll export without captions and just add them in Edits before posting, but that will slow down process so I hope this gets fixed asap.
Great job overall, I am considering buying a few more codes for my team and to give out as Christmas presents because I know what goes into building something like this and instead of wasting nights, weekends and hundreds of dollars on wasted tokens trying to build this, I'll just drop another $50 to get a finished product now and never pay for AI Clipping Credits ever again.
