Looking for a fast and easy program to cut your video's in short clips this is it. And yes it's not perfect yet but hey it runs on your laptop. It's fast. We did a vodcast with 2 people sitting at a table. The duo frame worked perfectly for a shortclip. And not buying AI credits every time again. Just one lifetime payment needed. Go for it.

Reelify AI is very affordable compared with tools like Opus Clip and Vizard, but unfortunately, it’s also not nearly as user-friendly.

My biggest issue is the editing workflow. It feels a little wonky, and the AI doesn’t seem to consistently identify the best moments from longer videos. I primarily use these tools to turn long-form podcasts into short-form reels, and I often find myself wondering why certain clips were selected while much stronger moments were missed.

The workflow also becomes frustrating when you're creating a lot of content. I regularly make 20+ reels from a podcast episode, and I haven't found a way to create presets for things like video format, clip length, titles, captions, and other settings. Having to adjust these settings individually for every video adds a lot of unnecessary time.

Another small but surprisingly annoying issue is downloading. I can't seem to change the download folder, which makes finding and organizing a large batch of exported reels more difficult than it should be.

The price is definitely Reelify AI's biggest strength. There's a lot of potential here, and if they improve the AI clip selection, streamline the editing process, and add customizable presets that can be applied across an entire project, it could become a very good alternative to Opus Clip or Vizard.

For now, though, if you're producing a high volume of short-form content from long podcasts, the lower price comes with some workflow headaches.

I used the App on MacBook M1 and I must say I am really positvly surprised! it works really quick and smooth, super user friendly. You can refresh the Clips, if they dont match, which is a huge plus for this amazing App. Captions look amazing, you can personlize them. Though I would ask to improve the dual Clip Function (really important for Bodcast, gaming..) when I crop the cam and gameplay for e.x. the size of both dont match in the short format. The cam size would be too big and the gameplay too small. Something I would love to see is a 'preview' before export, how it would look and be able to move caption around or the cropped areas for positions. And lastly I would really appreciate Arabic Support on the captions. Waiting for the Windows version! I think it will be great, you guys keep the good work going!

This is a valuable service for video creators who use Mac equipped with Apple Silicon.

I purchased Reelify early on when it first appeared on AppSumo. I already owned several AI clipping tools, but all of them required using the cloud. Because of that, I was simply hoping for a tool that would let me clip short videos locally from footage that hadn’t been published yet.

After my purchase, I emailed my specific workflow and suggestions for improvement. Jay understood my detailed requests and responded quickly with updates. The service improved dramatically in a short period, with frequent updates.

At this price, you get access to the auto-reframe feature and can also download SRT files. If they add a feature to enlarge the caption editing area, I think the service would be even better.

My experience with Reelify has been excellent, especially because of how much the platform has evolved in such a short time.

At the beginning, Portuguese support still needed some improvement, particularly in transcription and captions. But instead of treating that as a fixed limitation, the Reelify team showed something I truly value: a real commitment to listening to users, improving the product, and continuously refining the experience.

The progress has been impressive.

Today, Portuguese works extremely well, with accurate recognition and very consistent results. In my experience, it now performs even better than several other platforms I have used for video clipping and content creation.

The team also deserves special recognition. They are incredibly attentive, responsive to feedback, and genuinely dedicated to making Reelify better and better.

It is very rewarding to support a company that truly listens to its users and turns feedback into real improvements.

Reelify has become one of my favorite tools, and I highly recommend it not only because of the quality of the platform, but also because of the confidence and trust the team inspires.
