Thanks to the support team who helped me with a configuration issue for sending automatic emails from the website; Selldone Teams were very responsive. I contacted them via chat and they resolved the problem, and on my end, I fixed an issue with my email provider.

Selldone is an ambitious project! I have ambitions as well and have gotten my ADHD to lock-in to start building.

Note:
- Finish your KYC and Verifications FIRST before starting to build especiall with mcp!
- Mark has been mentioned in other reviews as well. Very, very friendly ...

PRO's:
- The marketplace feature (complex phew) is the biggest selling point for me and that is why I am banking on my Tier 5 investment.
- The (Appsumo) fee structure is double that of their offering on their website, but for that Sumolings get 12 stores!
- MCP connections with Claude, OpenAi, Gemini.
- No plugin circus with overlaps and incompatibilities.

CON's or areas for development:
- Ran into some KYC and Verification issues due to my own overeagerness, so if you have a test account with Selldone, make sure you do NOT USE the same email address to activate your Appsumo deal.
- The Wallet system for a LTD is still a little small mystery to me but internal Transfers are made easy/possible although these also carry the 1% (0.5%?)fee, which surprised me a little!?
- I also get the idea that the internal Wallet balance convert the 'real money' you charged the account with into virtual, tokenised money only. What I mean by this is that after you've 'charged' your wallet in order to verify your mobile number and validate your payment card ($25 and $5 transactions) you can earn a $25 bonus just by clicking on a banner .... ok, nice, but where does that money come from? When I pointed out that I paid a fee to do a Wallet transfer on a $50 transaction + 0.5% fee, I got a $30 bonus ... just like that? Where does all this 'money' come from?
- MCP onboarding - the downloadable skills and prompt copy - was not obvious i.e. you can connect your AI without knowing these skills exist. Spent a few unecessary tokens before I inadvertently bumped into the MCP webpage with the skills.md files etc.
- Support is almost too friendly. I understand customer satisfaction is important, but sending me a huge throbbing heart sticker .... LOL. And the 'mate', 'howzit' surfer dude tone can be toned down for my liking :-).
- I need quick accurate answers from Support (which seems to be out of :-( my timzone often) that show me an understanding of what I am asking and that support actually knows and understands more than I do ... which is not the impression I got all the time.

Final thoughts: Platform dependence is already an issue poking its ugly head out. Yes, all-in-one is great and 'no plugins', but that leaves us at the mercy of Selldone ... and they are VERY gracious. But i.e. with Logistics/Shipping services the lack of flexibility and options are close to dealbreaker for me especially if they do not open up endpoints for own development ... soon.

Yes, because Selldone, if done right (and it's still early days?), is a done deal for me. That's why im sold on it .... for now.

Selldone is one of the best services I've ever used. I did not mean to purchase this with any intent; however, I just became a member to give it a try. They are extremely helpful and responsive. Mark himself is very respectful and goes beyond his work to help me out start a business.

I am so excited to dive into this gift! The marketplace feature was for me the diamond. It afford me the opportunity to create and build a community of not only like minded individuals, but a space wherein we can all support and be supported in all ways. First off, you are insane if you dont at least TRY SELLDONE. I've purchased a LOT on AppSumo, well over 275 purchases in about 4 years: so I've seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and unfortunately have a chunk of apps in the app-graveyard.

With WordPress, I’m used to plugins, theme customization, security & hosting concerns, patching, shopping-cart headaches, compliance, and all the time it takes just to get a new idea to market. I’ve always wished I could find a SaaS, cloud-hosted product that felt secure and reliable, came with an LTD, let me test new product ideas FAST, looked great, included the typical modules/features I’d expect, and still gave me easy visual editing.

At first, I looked at Selldone on AppSumo, didn’t see a sales video, assumed it might be “just another low-effort marketplace app,” and skipped it. Then I suddenly needed to launch an online store FAST and started looking for something more like a Shopify-style storefront without another $30+ monthly bill.

During my research, Selldone kept coming up as a good option, even in Google AI searches that weren’t even mentioning the LTD. I came back, checked the screenshots, then visited Selldone’s own website and started getting MUCH better vibes. I found real customer demo stores, some of which looked very nice, and finally said, “Whatever, AppSumo has a good return period, I’ll try it.”

I started with Tier 3. Once I went through the setup wizard, saw the templating system, and realized how many features were included out-of-the-box, including various AI tools, I was insanely WOW’d. Like wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, WOW!!!! I immediately came back and upgraded to Tier 4, and when I can afford it I’ll probably upgrade again.

THIS IS THE SERVICE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IF YOU WANT A FAST GO-TO-MARKET ONLINE STORE! I'm truly excited about this product and deal. If you're one of those sumolings who gets upset about a lack of features or paid upgrades when you first login, it's OPPOSITE-DAY with Selldone. You get MASSIVE functionality instantly as soon as you login to Selldone. For anyone who complains about Selldone being difficult, I'd imagine they never even had to build a WordPress site & store previously, because this is a cakewalk in comparison. You have a lot of features, but IMO, everything within Selldone is 100% intuitive and works amazing well.

It has a built-in blog, community, newsletter, CRM, easy SMTP configuration, excellent visual website-design tools, built-in SEO and marketing, free SSL, and a full shop, all FULLY INTEGRATED.

They also handle cookie banners, AI integrations, great out-of-the-box templates, print-on-demand BOOKS AND CLOTHING, physical inventory, dropshipping, digital goods, POS/inventory tracking, lots of payment processor integrations, and strong tax handling.

The visual website builder itself is good enough that I don’t feel like I’m giving up the flexibility I’m used to from WordPress WYSIWYG tools, which was one of my biggest concerns.

Long story short, you are INSANE to not at least try Selldone. They’ve been around for years, which gives me more confidence than many newer LTD products, and Selldone TRULY DOES feel like a STRONG Shopify competitor. Obviously Shopify is a giant, but Selldone is competing WAY better than I expected.

The fact that this is an LTD honestly feels like I’m stealing something. This is easily one of my top-3 FAVORITE purchases ALL-TIME on AppSumo.

Thank you Selldone Team! You’ve done an incredible job, and I’m even happier knowing the platform should keep improving over time.

My main advice to the Selldone Team: MARKET YOUR BEST DEMO STORES BETTER and/or maintain polished demo sites yourselves. I think that alone would make the product much easier to understand and sell. Also, I'd love to see more high-end pre-made templates, please. I'm REALLY looking forward to your MCP features as well! :)

Also, you should consider having AppSumo create a strong sales-pitch video for this deal. I’m one of those Sumolings who only watches the video first, then scrolls straight down to the pricing/tiers, and often makes a decision from there. I originally skipped Selldone partly because I couldn’t quickly understand what the full front-end and back-end experience really looked like. I'm actually upset knowing that I almost passed on this.

If more Sumolings could quickly SEE what Selldone looks like, how much is built-in, and how fast you can stand up a website + shop, I genuinely think you’d get far more sales and reviews.

And this isn’t only for traditional stores. If you sell ANYTHING, products, digital goods, services, memberships, or even just want a regular website today and then turn on selling features later, then Selldone is worth looking at.

I want this company to keep thriving because, selfishly, I want Selldone to stay online and keep growing indefinitely! :) I’ll absolutely be telling everyone I know about it.
