Q: Can Agency Plan team members use separate calendars and payment accounts, and is TidyCal HIPAA/BAA compliant?

Hi TidyCal Support,

I have the Agency Plan and need to know if it can support a wellness collective with independent practitioners, including licensed therapists.

I need each practitioner to have their own login, booking links, availability, Google Calendar connection, pricing, and Stripe/PayPal account so payments route directly to their own bank account, not mine. As agency owner, I only need to invite/remove users and remove booking links if someone leaves. I do not want access to their private payment details.

Can TidyCal support this setup? If the agency owner does not connect payments, can team members connect their own? If the owner does connect payments, does that prevent members from using their own?

Also, is TidyCal HIPAA compliant, and do you sign BAAs for licensed therapists handling PHI?

Yes, TidyCal is built for exactly this kind of independent-practitioner setup. Each team member has their own TidyCal account, which means their own login, their own booking page and links, their own availability, and their own connected calendar (Google, Microsoft, or Apple). Pricing is set per booking type by whoever owns it, so each practitioner fully controls their own rates.

Payments are connected per person, not at the team level. Each practitioner connects their own Stripe account and/or their own PayPal, and payments for the bookings on their page go directly to that person's own account. To answer your specific questions: yes, your team members can connect their own payment accounts whether or not you (the owner) connect yours, and you connecting payments does not prevent them from using their own. The two are entirely independent, and each member's payout details live on their own account.

On HIPAA and BAAs, we don't want to give you anything but a definitive answer, especially for licensed therapists handling PHI, so please email our team at [email protected].
