Super crappy - $12/mo to remove branding
Super crappy - once you pay for a lifetime subscription, there’s still an appsumo branding link at the bottom, and not just that in order to remove it you need to sign up for a subscription at $12 a month.
Really what is the point of even buying this?
Even cal.com in their free version doesn’t have a branding link!
Ugh appsumo branded products are just NOT good anymore, no updates for over 1 year since 2025 and then you drop 200 updates in less than a month and yet none of them still catch up to your competitors.
And worse you kept the branding link for lifetime members, even worse than that, you made it a subscription, gross!

TidyCal is awesome in so many ways. But 1% Platform fees. Nope, I'm out. Very very disappointing.

Loved it for years, no longer recommend it
I bought an early lifetime plan. I was super disappointed to discover that Tidycal had switched to taking 1% of bookings. In a good month, I book several thousand dollars of work through Tidycal. Guess what? I can buy a monthly subscription to Calendly for that price. $30-50/month is not the right price for one seat of this product, but that's what it would now cost me to fully book work through it.
Best still: I suppose that I missed an email about the change, but when they switched to taking 1% of bookings, they started adding it as a charge to my clients. NOT cool.

TidyCal has grown a great deal since you bought. We've added a lot and improved the product across the board, and keeping that up means a few things can no longer be supported on lifetime plans. Payments without a platform fee are one of them: lifetime plans now have a 1% platform fee on Stripe...
