Q: Clarification Needed on Embedding, CNAME, and Email Capture
I'm interested in purchasing FlipBooklets, but I’m a bit unclear about what Option 3 includes. I’m currently deciding between Option 2 and Option 3.
My main goal is to embed the flipbooks on my WordPress website and have them open in the same way as the examples shown on your site (https://flipbooklets.com/examples). Is that functionality available with both options?
Also, could you clarify the purpose of the “1 Custom Domain (CNAME)” feature in Option 3? If embedding works directly on my site, I'm just curious about the added value of that feature.
Lastly, I noticed the email capture form doesn’t seem to validate email addresses. Is there any way to prevent users from submitting random or fake emails?
Thanks for getting in touch. I can certainly help. The embed function is available on both tier 2 and 3. If that is your main goal, tier 2 will do you just fine and you can save $59 too.
The purpose of the custom domain it to be able to have your link before the book name. Essentially you add a CNAME for a subdomain of your choice to your DNS which points to our service. Once setup we take care of the routing and SSL certificate and your books will then display as though they are from your subdomain.
The link will go from... https://flipbooklets.com/pdfflipbooklets/your-book-name to... https://subdomain.yourdomain.com/your-book-name
If you are only going to embed them on your website, this feature will be of little-to-no value to you.
At the moment there is no validation. We can implement this, but it will not stop people using a temporary email address just to validate and get access. As a result we've not prioritised this feature.
I hope that all helps, any additional questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
I'm looking for following options in flipbooks, please let me know which ones are available with flipbooklets, thanks:
1. Print disable 2. Download disable 3. Password protected (End user would be able to access the flipbook only with a password) 4. Screen-shot disable Thanks again!
Thanks for your questions. I can certainly help answer those:
1. The PDF will not be able to be printed directly in full, but users will still be able to use the "print" browser option for a particular page they are on (but it doesn't display nicely on the page). 2. Yes, we do have that feature 3. Yes, we do have that feature 4. I am afraid screenshots are an operating system feature, not the browser, we do not have any control over it I'm afraid.
I just want to add and to be open and honest, FlipBooklets has been primarily designed to display and share public facing marketing materials. I am afraid there will be no way to 100% secure the content so they cannot be copied by screenshot, or even taking photos of the screen.
Can the whitelabel option and folders allow individual titles to be processed and displayed on different websites for a publisher association? Will this also work with team accounts if that is on the roadmap?
I sent an email a couple of months ago about a project using flip booklets in Canada and didn't get a reply.
Thanks for your message. I am sorry you've not received a reply, I've searched and we've not received your request. Can you please re-send to support@flipbooklets.com and I will keep a lookout for it!
I am not sure I understand the requirements around a publisher association, I'm happy to have a quick call to discuss. I look forward to your email and speaking about your requirements.
Hey all using Flipbooklets currently, I’m using Heyzine but missed out on their AppSumo deal. I’m wondering if switching to Flipbooklets is worth it? If anyone has any experiencing switching over, I’d appreciate some insight. I understand that audio/video embedded aren’t available like on Heyzine but is there anything else worth considering? Thanks, Dave
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I didn't want to leave this unanswered. We've not had any customers request any assistance in switching over to us from Heyzine. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Hopefully another user may have more information for you.
Thanks for getting in touch. I am afraid this is not currently possible. Once our folder structure is complete we can begin looking into making a folder "public" complete with a link, so that they can view the contents and select which they'd like to view. Please contact support@flipbooklets.com if you'd like to be kept up-to-date of development with this particular feature.

Q: How does the library work?
Can we link to the library of our flipbooks so users can select what they would like to view?
