A: Hello,

You can scrape your blog by using our integrated web scraper. With Plan 3, you can scrape 150 pages in a single session by using the Train with URL feature.

For knowledge, you'll have training character limits, and when you remove some old content, your training character limit will be freed.

We had an OpenAI key connection feature, but we've announced that we'll remove that feature and give some compensation to users instead of that ability, so if this is a real party breaker for you, please consider buying another tool. You don't need an OpenAI key; you'll have tokens/message credits in your plan.

We introduced message credits for non-AppSumo plans to make these calculations simpler, but since AppSumo plan owners have tokens in their accounts, some of them wanted to use the old system to measure. Therefore, we're showing tokens instead of message credits for AppSumo plan owners.

You can learn more about tokens and their conversion to message credits here.

Q: Multiple WordPress chatbots

Hi

I have a client that want installed 10 chatbots on their Wordpress site, each on a different page, each trained with different data. Each chatbot to accept 10.000 questions per month. Chatbots will respond only from the data on which he trained on, and questions received from the clients, in time.

Can we do this with you? Is there anything else to be paid, apart from the last AppSumo level? If so, let me know how much please.

Thank you.

A: Hello,

If each chatbot expect 10k messages, and you'll have 10 chatbots, it means you'll have 100k messages monthly. This is even beyond our highest tier Mevo XL on monthly subscriptions.

However, it's technically possible, if you contact us via hi@usemevo.com we can define a custom plan for you that supports 100k messages monthly.

You can see Mevo XL plan details here; it comes with 30k messages for $199, which can give you an initial idea about pricing.

Q: Plans for AI improvement?

I connected all the AI training then I asked in chat, "what do you do?" it responded it was an AI bot. https://prnt.sc/fZSYUDV4eMps

I also asked it how much my product weighed, it said it didn't know. All this information is in the training. Confused as to why mevo isn't answering me when I was trying to test it.

Hard to have a conversation as if I were a human. I would be upset with these responses: https://prnt.sc/nqtHu0AVtKjA and https://prnt.sc/rscs3Sl9B97u.

Can you assist me and advise how I can get this to properly work?

A: Hello,

This behavior about the initial prompt, you can change the initial prompt for specifying the desired AI behavior. You should do experiments until you find the best purpose for your specific use case. For changing initial prompt, you should follow these steps:

1. Log in
2. Click the chatbot you want to manage
3. Click on "AI settings" from left sidebar
4. Change the content of "Initial Prompt" textarea
5. Save changes

Q: NEW QUESTIONS NEW VISION

I have a level three license and due to the changes you have communicated in some questions I would like you to please answer me:

1. Now the OpenAi keys will no longer be available, so what model exactly will our chatbots work with? GptO, GptOmini, GptO1, GptO3... will we be able to choose which one to work with?

2. Will we still be able to have a link to access the full-page chatbot directly from that link, for example: https://bot.usemevo.com/54357etcetc

3. In the event that we exhaust our credits/tokens, at what price will we have to buy them from you?

Thank you

A: Hello,

Thanks for the questions.

1. All of your tokens in this deal are gpt-3.5-turbo and gpt-4o-mini as default. We are receiving lots of complaints about bad performance of these models, in the future, we won't show model selection to users, the system will automatically choose the best model for the related task from the available models underneath, like Claude, DeepSeek, and other popular LLM providers. You should only care about response quality, not technical details like model name, version, etc.

2. Yes, full-page chatbots will be available, and they can be accessed with the link format you shared.

3. We haven't yet decided on the price, but it will be hugely discounted and accessible for existing AppSumo deal owners.

Q: Clarification on OpenAI API Key Removal

Hi Mevo Team,

I recently noticed that support for OpenAI API Keys will be removed starting April 1, 2025. As an LTD user, I would like to understand the implications of this change more clearly.

1. How will this impact LTD users who previously relied on their own OpenAI API keys for chatbot processing?

2. With this removal, LTD users are now restricted to Mevo’s token quota. If they exceed the limit, will they have to buy additional AI tokens from Mevo since they can no longer use their own OpenAI keys? This forces LTD users to depend on Mevo’s token system, despite OpenAI API access being a key feature they originally valued.

This change significantly affects how I initially planned to use Mevo. I appreciate any clarification you can provide.

Thank you!

A: Hi

Thanks for the questions.

1. As first, we're considering extending the date to 1 May 2025 to give enough time for the transition process to be more manageable. The only thing you should do is remove the OpenAI key connection and train your same chatbot with the same knowledge items.

Your chatbot will continue to answer questions like before, probably better because when you use your OpenAI key, there are side effects like key-specific quotas that sometimes cause errors in the chatbot, etc.

2. Yes, we'll offer additional credit plans at discounted prices to AppSumo deal owners so you can keep using the service without any interruption.

I understand your concerns, but these changes will make the product more robust. The current architecture is too dependent on OpenAI, which limits our ability to improve the quality of our response generation and use other modern LLM options. OpenAI key linking brings many issues, like key-specific quota errors and some synchronization issues between OpenAI and Mevo.
