Q: Responsive view and roadmap?

Hi,

Charts in mobile view are often a difficult fit without loosing the intended overview for readers. Do you have examples of website embeds on mobiles?

Is there a public roadmap?

A: Hello!
Thanks for taking the time to check out InstaCharts and ask some questions!

You're right, charts on mobile are tough; there is plenty of room for charts to be tall but not so much wide. We've chosen to not alter charts the user has made by turning them into tall rectangles on mobile - instead your chart will grow or shrink to fit the available space. Sometimes this makes the chart text...

Q: This is a great tool, but I'd like charts in our brand colors and fonts. Is it possible to customize them?

A: Edit: We now support custom google fonts!

Hello,
Thanks for the question!
Yes, colors can be customized on a per chart basis for now, using the Size & Style panel: https://instacharts.io/docs/charts/size-and-options/
Unfortunately it is not possible to change any fonts.

We'll have our team look into changing fonts on embedded charts.
Thank you for your interest!

A: Hello! Thanks for reaching out and asking a question. I've broken out the answer into two parts:

1. Will readers be apply to apply filters to an embedded chart?
If the reader opens the embed into a full view window, they will see the share screen. If "Show Editor Controls" is on for the share, the users will be able to fully "edit" the chart, including setting filters....

A: Hello,
Thanks for your interest in InstaCharts. No, currently 100k rows is a hard limit no matter your InstaCharts plan - it is not possible to load a dataset with more than 100k rows.

Thank you for reaching out! Let me know how else I can help.

Q: As Instacharts is a shared resource, is it possible to saturate if I generate too much graphics at once?

I use AWS for my own company online platform, AWS help us to create graphics for our pdf reports which are on demand during the month, on a typical report there is around 15-20 graphics. We do not create a lot of pdf report but our concern is that as a shared resource we may get no graphic if instachart is busy working for others. Do you have an idea if this might be an issue? what is the capacity of your server?

A: Hello,
Thanks for checking out InstaCharts for your business! We currently do not offer any guarantees around image generation. It is possible a "no graphic" image will be returned.

I would say most images take between 1-5 seconds to be returned (longer, if there are more than a few thousand data rows in your sheet). If there is heavy usage, it could take longer to return your images - if you...
