Q: As Instacharts is a shared resource, is it possible to saturate if I generate too much graphics at once?
I use AWS for my own company online platform, AWS help us to create graphics for our pdf reports which are on demand during the month, on a typical report there is around 15-20 graphics. We do not create a lot of pdf report but our concern is that as a shared resource we may get no graphic if instachart is busy working for others. Do you have an idea if this might be an issue? what is the capacity of your server?

A: Hello, Thanks for checking out InstaCharts for your business! We currently do not offer any guarantees around image generation. It is possible a "no graphic" image will be returned.
I would say most images take between 1-5 seconds to be returned (longer, if there are more than a few thousand data rows in your sheet). If there is heavy usage, it could take longer to return your images - if you...
I'm trying to come up with possible usecases because I do like the look of your charts and what may come in the future.
Can you clarify a few things: 1 - Do/will you have "slicer" functionality - within the chart 2 - Do/will you have: -combo charts -scorecards -gauge -table charts 3 - are we restrcited to one chart per page, or can we include severale charts and design the layout i.e. create a...

A: Hello! Thanks for taking the time to check out InstaCharts and ask some questions! I'm happy to hear you like the look of our charts.
I think most of your questions relate to dashboards. We currently do not offer dashboards or multiple charts per page. We may add this in the future, no ETA on when this will be completed however. There is a ticket for dashboards, you can follow its progress...
1. Can I upload a CSV to the platform and produce charts instantly? 2. And Excel too? 3. I have a spreadsheet which is password protected, so every time i need to access the excel sheet I have to manually enter the password to get in. And I cannot get rid or turn-off the password gateway unfortunately. What happens if I upload this doc into the platform, will it still work and produce charts?
Thank you

A: Hello, Thanks for checking out InstaCharts for your use case! 1. Yes, you can upload a csv to InstaCharts and instantly get a chart back. 2. InstaCharts does not read password protected files at this time. If you export your password protected excel file to a non password protected file (like csv or regular excel), it should work. Let me know if you have any more questions! Bart
Hi, I wonder if it would be possible to embed charts that I generate via API in a PDF-page generated in MarkUp Go (available on Appsumo).

A: Hello, Thanks for checking out InstaCharts and asking a question! It looks like Markup Go supports loading SVG and JavaScript through a url so it should be able to load charts from InstaCharts. You can also embed images from InstaCharts. Let me know if you have any more questions. Bart
Is there a way to sort the X (or Y) axis by response option order? For instance, my survey response options move from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree, but I cannot find how to sort the X axis to maintain this Likert-Type order. My X axis is all over the place, which is not great for presenting data in an easily diegestible way.

A: Hello, First thanks for trying out InstaCharts. You're right, there is no custom sort on the X or Y axis, and I see how this is a needed feature for a chart with Likert data. I'm sorry if this is frustrating for you! As a workaround, you could number the likert category names (Ex: 1.Strongly Agree, 2. Agree, 3. Neutral, etc) and order the axis in alphabetical order.
