I rarely write reviews, but I had to for Dadan! I'm currently creating a self-paced course, and I tried Loom, Descript, and Riverside to do so and was struggling for various reasons like 1) sharing a desktop window (not a browser tab), 2) each of the products demanding so much power that my computer was overheating and making the fan run LOUDLY (not ideal for a video lesson), and 3) experiencing weird audio clicking sounds when using my mic.

I tried Dadan's desktop app beta and it's been perfect! It doesn't overheat my computer, the sound quality is crisp, and the experience is smooth.

The ONLY thing I don't like is the built-in video editor. The "scissors" to cut out certain parts of the video on a separate track instead of just allowing us to split the video and delete parts as needed is tedious. My current workaround is exporting the video from Dadan and editing it in CapCut. I'd love to see an upgrade here as working directly in-platform would make my life a whole lot easier.

Overall though, I love the product and would definitely upgrade to a higher tier if/when Dadan ever returns to Appsumo. So, thank you!

I’ve been using Dadan and overall I like the concept and direction of the product. The idea of creating interactive videos quickly is very useful, especially for anyone working in content, education, or online communication.
The platform offers good integrations with popular tools, which makes the workflow smoother and saves time when managing recordings and publishing content. The interface is clean and relatively easy to understand, even for first-time users.
I did experience some slowness at times, particularly when working with larger recordings or navigating between certain sections. However, this seems like something that can improve as the product matures and performance is optimized.
Considering this is a lifetime deal, I believe it offers very good value. The foundation is solid, and with continued updates and performance improvements, the tool has strong potential to become a key solution in the interactive video space.
Overall, a promising investment for anyone interested in interactive content creation.

So much thought has been put into this tool. It's jam packed with features and the roadmap is slammed with awesome updates to come.
