It's an LTD, duh... I was paying 16/month to Loom before this.
AI features work well.
Editing tools are easy to figure out.
It has many of the core features one would expect from Loom and other competitors.
The Google Meet integration is nice. When I miss a meeting, Dadan will send me a recorded video of the whole meeting and summarize certain highlights and key takeaways.

CONS - or just minor improvements needed
Audio quality is lacking, especially for uploaded recordings. I'm not sure why their interface does this, but the mp4 quality seems to diminish a bit, each time I upload a video (such as past GMeet recordings and past Loom recordings). There's also a subtle ringing tone in the background on some of these. Being an audio engineer myself, I know it's not something on my end.
After recording videos, their go-live time is lengthy. Like a 30 minute video recording can take 2 minutes to be ready to watch/edit/share. Maybe I'm just impatient.

Overall, It's pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it and it's a no-brainer replacement to its competitors. Highly recommend.

Dadan shows so much promise and I'm really happy I jumped on the deal. I was able to start using it right away, so there isn't a steep learning curve, at least not for the basic features.

I like it better than loom and a few other apps I've tried when it comes to recording a screen share. The quality of the videos you can create is really good. I've only recorded 5 times so far and got 3 videos of excellent quality.

One of the other ones only managed to record the first 36 minutes of a two hour session, and the other video I lost because the stop recording button wouldn't work. I tried to stop it from recording a couple different ways and several times, and it just kept on recording, so I was unable to save it, and ended up losing the whole recording, when I finally got fed up and just closed the browser window.

That is 2 out of 5 videos, so the app doesn't seem very dependable yet. I feel like I need to have a back up recorder going at the same time just in case, which you shouldn't have to do if your app is reliable. It is possible both of these were flukes and it just happened to me right off the bat, but I can't really say until I use the app more. Hopefully an upgrade will make recordings more reliable.

In the meantime, I'm going to continue to use the app, as well as check out the other features. I was torn between giving it 3 or 4 stars because I really like the app and it shows great potential, however with 2 of the 5 videos not recording properly I'm really not sure at this point. I decided to rate it 4 for now and give them the benefit of the doubt, in case the issues were on my end.

I may change this review as I play with the app more and get a better impression of it and its recordings.

too buggy for now and didn't work for me. using windows app recording 40 minutes end up with only 10 seconds of video. second video tried but initially didn't appear (but appear soon after, maybe server slow). 3rd video tried, it managed to record but the video shows 30 seconds only, but it actually continued to play the recording after the 30 seconds timer indicator is completed. (which in this case video is recorded but the playback timer is not working well). All recordings will end up "loading" in browser which takes a while not knowing if it recorded correclty. No confidence to use at the moment so decided to refund. Maybe if they decide to come back next time will give it another try.

Went all in and getting value from day 1. Constant improvements and updates, easy to use interface and feature-rich.

We've been looking for a solution to keep all of our SOPs in one place without a huge monthly fee. We love Dadan, because we can record videos, take notes, share with each other, and keep them all organized in folders. I would recommend this app!
