Q: Which Country is Vivomeetings Hosted & Supported In?
Can you please advise as to which country Vivomeetings is hosted and supported in?
I already understand that it is an American company and uses distributed AWS servers depending on user location. But what I need to know specifically is which country is the parent platform hosted in and supported from, please?
I am located in Germany…, is it possible to host meetings in Germany? How do users join my meeting (is that ‚dialing in‘)? Which tier would make that possible?
A: Thanks for your inquiry. You can host meetings anywhere users can join online, with no need for dial-in numbers. As stated in the AppSumo product description, dial-in numbers are only available from tiers 4 to 7 in the USA and Canada.
Thanks, so I would not need those dial in numbers, but how does a guest join my meeting? I was trying to send an invite, and the system asked me for a dial in number ???
Q: Does AppSumo Tier 1 support file transfer?
I am a little confused about the Tier 1 features. Appsumo says that Tier 1 features file transfer, while on the vivomeetings website, the basic plan does not offer file sharing. Can you confirm to me that Tier 1 supports file sharing? TIA, François
A: Thanks for your inquiry. Are you purchasing through our website or AppSumo? I don't see what the confusion is. For questions about purchases on our website, please reach out to our Sales team. NOTE: by "file transfer," we mean you can upload a file during your meeting, and all attendees can download it.
A: Thank you for your inquiry. As stated in the product description on AppSumo and our website, all Tiers (1 to 7) include the four meeting modes. You can view how-to videos on our YouTube channel.
I understand from the answers to previous questions that the system will point to the closest server available within the global network that it uses.
1. Are you able to please indicate which network of servers is used. ie: Bluehost, AWS, Google, etc? 2. With local dial in numbers available in USA & Canada I take it that the system itself is hosted in either the USA or Canada, is that correct?
A: We utilize AWS servers and are an American company. We appreciate your questions. However, asking multiple questions consecutively hinders our ability to respond to all customers. Please consolidate your questions and either email our sales team or set up a demo.
Thanks for answering the first question regarding AWS servers, however I don't appreciate being told that I am hindering your ability to respond to questions when the previous answers to that issue have been ambiguous. Is the parent system for Vivomeeting hosted in the USA? Please advise? You have said it is a US company but not answered that specifically. There is a reason we need to know. Thanks

I consider buying on AppSumo, tier 1. And, yes, that’s what I mean by file sharing.
Is it a bad thing that we added something extra to the AppSumo deal, or do you prefer we remove the feature? :)

Thanks! I just bought Tier 1.
Thank you for your purchase.
Q: Hello, could you please tell me if we will have access to all features at level 7?
And to Presentations For Your Online Meetings? Are all 4 event functions included? Meeting modes?
