A: Hey, Chema!

You can upload .pdf, .doc, .docx, and .xls (Excel) file types. This is more than other tools typically offer (even those that charge $15+ per month). Our system processes those file types, so you can make the documents whatever you want as long as they're that file type — of course, making sure you follow laws, local regulations, etc.

Remember, it comes with a best-in-class 60-day refund guarantee. You can try the product for TWO entire months before deciding to return it. There's no better deal out there for a simple, affordable e-signature option. Check it out and see if it's a match!

A: Thanks so much, DarkHorse! Super kind of you to say. We've LOVED building Originals products over the past few years — and excited to bring you new one officially today. 😇

To answer your question: We're hyper-focused on simplicity and affordability, specifically for solopreneurs, consultants, freelancers, and contractors.

Specifically, we're NOT focused on big businesses, agencies, or people who are sending >40 contracts per month. There are other tools out there that are likely better focused on that "bigger brand" crowd.

For Contract Hub, or any competitive, our suggestion is to try BreezeDoc. We have a best-in-class 60-day refund period (!!!), which is DOUBLE the amount of competitors. You can literally sign up and try our product in 10 seconds to see if it's right for you... and if it's not, you can easily refund it. There's absolutely no risk to try and see how it works for you.

Give it a try, and let us know what you think!

A: Hey, PhilippeC!

Thanks for your question here. There are so many worldwide regulations depending on one's locale that our best encouragement is to check out our terms of service (https://breezedoc.com/tos) and our privacy policy (https://breezedoc.com/privacy) and see how it works for you.

At this time, we're hyper-focused on U.S.-specific regulations and focusing on simple features. That means, at this time, we're not focused on advanced compliances (European, HIPAA, etc.).

That's not to say we won't do them ever. Depending on what people suggest in the roadmap/feature request link (found in the "From the founders" area), we'll aim to prioritize the biggest wants. So don't hesitate to leave suggestions!

Thanks so much for your comment here. That's surprising to us, and wasn't something that was seen in our testing. The emails are pretty simple and follow industry-standard HTML practices.

Per the community guidelines (https://appsumo.com/community-guidelines/), please share any bugs or issues directly with our team at support@breezedoc.com. That's the best way to get bugs and issues triaged quickly.

Q: A key feature I use in DocuSign is signer attachments.

We often times need to collect an ID (passport or DL) with documents we send for signature. DocuSign allows recipients to attach their ID along with their signature (on the pricier tier). Is this a feature BreezeDoc has or will have?

A: Hey, vicstanley!

Thanks so much for your question here. It's really interesting to hear how people use DocuSign. We've spent the past couple months beta testing the product with our beta testers, so we have a lot of the basics... but this is why we're excited about our Lifetime deal public launch to learn more of what people want. 😃

We haven't heard about this feature before, but if you're interested in us adding new features, please do check out the "From the founders" area where you can submit ideas to our roadmap/ideas page. This will help us see what people want the most (as others can upvote what they want, too). This helps us properly prioritize which features get built next.

Thanks for checking out BreezeDoc.

A: Hey, apps53!

Zapier is something we've built in our other Originals products (TidyCal, SendFox, etc.) — along with an API. Similarly, we expect to build it eventually for BreezeDoc.

If you're wanting it, feel free to add it to the product roadmap/feature request site in the "From the founders" area. The more people who vote on it/want it, the more likely it is we'll build it sooner rather than later.

Thanks for checking out BreezeDoc! 🚀

Q: Wow!

That is such an interesting alternative to docu sign!
My question : From what I understand, I can create a document that can be signed by multiple people. Is there a possibility to keep each signature private ? Example : I teach a yoga class and want every student to sign a waiver form. Therefore the document is the same for every student, but I don’t want students to see each other’s signature. Is there a way to do that with this new product?

Thank you !😊

A: Hey, YogacommeChat! Thanks for your question. 🤙

This is a really neat idea, but we're not allowing private, mass signatures at this point. At this stage, BreezeDoc is meant for things like consulting projects, or one-to-one agreements between a freelancer and a client.

Your idea is a really good one, so don't hesitate to add it to our product roadmap/product features link in the "From the founders" area. That way, people can vote if they like it. We typically prioritize requests that get the most interest and upvotes so that we can release things for the largest group of people wanting something.

Q: I agree with the questions regarding more limits.

Other appsumo deals offer at least 500 signatures per month. Is there any chance we can get similar? Also is this hipaa compliant?

A: Hey, George2020! Thanks for your question. 🙋 Please see my answer to ChristopheHK (you can search if you can't find it) for a detailed answer on why we're keeping the limits where they are.

The short answer: This is not a tool that was specifically designed for agencies or large businesses... it's specifically targeted towards the solopreneur, contractor, consultant crowd. This is a demographic we feel we know better, and we can help better — and it matches our ethos of simplicity and affordability (the larger the business, the more complex their requirements, the more time it takes to build, and therefore the more we have to charge... we want to focus on really great price instead).

As for HIPAA, at this time, we're not HIPAA-compliant. We are, however, rapidly adding new features, so if there are any bugs, don't hesitate to report it to our team at support@breezedoc.com, or if you have any feature suggestions, don't hesitate to check out the roadmap/feature request site in the "From the founders" area.

Thanks for your interest. 🙇

A: Hey, vantageca! Hope you're having a great Tuesday. 🌅

A hosted link/a copy-and-paste link is available right now inside of BreezeDoc. To have your recipient, or recipients, execute the document, you can either send them an email notification (which Lifetime deal Tier 2 and above can customize, including automated reminders) or copy-and-paste the link and send manually depending on the recipient (there is a unique link for each recipient).

Remember also, there's a best-in-class 60-day (!!!) refund guarantee. This is DOUBLE the amount of time that DocuSign offers — and it gives you two full months to try the product and see if you like it before returning it if you don't. There's absolutely no risk.

Q: Congratulations on the launch!

1. A bit of higher limits would be great. I understand the focus on solo and small businesses. I'm a solo but even with Tier 4 it may be a challenge. For example, in many cases, I want people to sign acknowledgements on various items during projects, which could be 3-4 month per project. If I run several 10-12 projects per month, it will use up the limit just on those not counting for any engagement agreements for new clients.

2. Are there any plans to have a AS Plus exclusive version (similar to SendFox)?

A: Hey, molodoi155!

Thanks for your feedback here about higher limits. This is great for us to consider and, like all Originals, we will continue to add new features, improvements, and updates over time (one of our other Originals products — TidyCal — has received over 1,000 updates at no extra cost to the Lifetime deal owners over the past couple years).

To answer your question about a Plus Exclusive: We don't have any plans at this time due to the super low cost of the product already. However, if you're wanting this to be a Plus Exclusive, definitely let us know in the feature request/roadmap area of the "From the founders" post. That'll help us understand what people want the most. 🎉

Q: Hi David!

It looks fantastic, and I'm in. My question is how you define a 'document'?
If I'm issuing the same basic contract to, say, 10 separate clients at the same time, is that one 'document' or 10?

Thanks! Loving TidyCal and looking forward to seeing comparable good things with BreezeDoc :)

A: Hey, 104119492152177058914! Thanks so much for your kind words and support. 🤙 Even though we've released a handful of products over the years at Originals, I still get nervous every time... so thanks for the encouragement. 😃

To answer your question, the way we classify a document is each individual document on your dashboard that was sent and received at least one signature. For example, a single document that was sent and had one signature is one document. A single document that was sent to multiple recipients and has multiple signatures executed/completed is a single document.

We're planning to add more clarity to your Tier level and your allotment usage in your settings in the near future, so you'll be able to better track every month. In the meantime, you can always email support@breezedoc.com if you have any questions about your current Tier usage.

Q: Hi David, congratualtion to the launch of the new product, it really looks awesome.

A: Hey, About1! Thanks so much. 🙇

At this time, we're not GDPR-compliant. Since the product is new, and regulation compliances take time and research, it's something we're missing at this time. Our recommendation is to check out the BreezeDoc terms of use and privacy policy, and compare that to the local regulations that you need to follow in your locale.

And, if you do want GDPR compliancy — or have any additional suggestions — please do submit ideas to our roadmap/feature request page linked in the "From the founders" area. That's how we keep track of what users want the most, so we can prioritize what we build. 🚀

A: Hey, AndyHuang! Thanks so much for your interest in BreezeDoc, and for trying our private beta earlier. You're one of the lucky ones who was invited to test before the public. 🎉

Any beta testers are on the free "Tier 1" plan. You can easily upgrade by buying a license for a higher tier (e.g., Tier 2) and applying it to the same account. It should upgrade you that way.

Your idea about being able to see what Tier you're currently on inside your account is a good one, and something we do on other Originals products (like TidyCal). We'd like to implement that improvement in the near future but, for now, if you have any questions about your current tier, don't hesitate to email our Support team at support@breezedoc.com.

A: Hey, Alex_D! 👋

For the most part, yes. You can upload documents in *any* language (including Cyrillic languages, or other non-Western languages). And, with the Lifetime deal, you can edit the email notification you send your recipients — or totally bypass the email notification by copy-and-pasting the link and sending them manually.

However, there may still be parts of the product that are English-only for now. If you notice anything that's English-only and you want translated, let us know on our roadmap/product features link in the "From the founders" area.

Thanks for checking out BreezeDoc!

A: Hey, ChristopheHK!

Thanks for the FIRST question on our new Originals product BreezeDoc. Yay! 🎉 I feel like you should get a medal or something. 😛

To answer your question, a couple years ago we started positioning our Originals products — especially the all-time bestselling AppSumo deal TidyCal — for solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, consultants, freelancers, and other individuals and small businesses. Simply put, we think we can help that audience more than big businesses. It's an audience that I personally understand better (and therefore, can hyper-focus our features) and it's a bigger audience in general.

So, with BreezeDoc, we're shying away from agencies, multi-brand companies, and other large businesses. We're not really focused on that demographic, and we're not the best tool in that situation. There are other tools out there that are better for those large brands.

On the other hand, if you're a consultant, freelancer, individual, solopreneur, marketer, etc. and you send a few signatures a month... but you're paying DocuSign $15+ per month... we think we're a GREAT fit. We focus on simplicity and affordability.

We're excited to make BreezeDoc better over time — there's a LOT in the pipeline — but we don't plan to stray from our idea of solopreneurs and other individuals. So, if you're looking for large-allotment plans (i.e. agencies or big businesses) our encouragement is to explore other tools that are better suited.

Hope that makes sense, and thanks for checking out BreezeDoc.

A: Hey, ASW23768!

Like other Originals, we do not plan to add a white label for the Lifetime deal tiers. This is because we aim to bring evergreen, long-term deals that last for YEARS to Sumo-lings — at an extremely reasonable price. Compare our $9 per LIFE plan to DocuSign's $15 per MONTH plan.

For many customers, while we don't have one-to-one feature parity as DocuSign... and that's okay. We're all they need. We're all about that cost-savings. 🤑

Like other Originals products (i.e. SendFox), we may offer a discounted monthly add-on that allows white label in the future. But, we have no near-term plans for that. Right now, we're just hyper-focused on making the product features as quality as possible.

Hope that helps, and thanks for checking out BreezeDoc. 🎉
