Q: Finalized documents NOT showing as digitally signed?

Hi, when finishing a document through docusign, the PDF shows as digitally signed with clear stamps / Docusign Envelope IDs etc.

The breeze doc seems like a normal PDF that could have been manually edited to contain certain dates or "signatures" (mostly just a cursive font).

This kind of "unsigned pdf" gives the recipients zero options to verify?

Is this on the roadmap, otherwise this doesn't make sense as a digital signature tool?

Thanks
Rob

Q: What about your customers who have Tier 4 already?

Hi There,
Do you plan to upgrade your old "Lifetime Plan - Tier 4" to your new "Tier 2 (Agency)" ?
That's the way it works on AppSumo with prior customer.
Plans & features - Deal terms & conditions on AppSumo: If Plan name changes, deal will be mapped to the new Plan name with all accompanying updates

A: Hey, be.cr!

Please see the "from the founders" post that covers this in detail — as we planned for this situation heavily. As mentioned in that post, any users on their existing plan are *not* affected. They keep their current tier plan limits and capabilities without any changes. They will also continue to receive all updates as part of the Lifetime plans.

If you have any further questions, you can email support@breezedoc.com and we'll be glad to help you out.

Q: 40-Document Limit

In your update you stated:
"We're hyper-focused on the individuals and entrepreneurs. If you're running a business that needs to send more than 40 documents per month, we recommend you check out other products that are focused on higher limitations (specifically, tools designed for bigger businesses and agencies)."

However, I am a solo-entrepreneur, looking to train college/uni graduates in job readiness and entrepreneurship. These are 1-week courses. I expect to have 30 students per week. That's potentially 120 per month if all is going well. And each one has to sign an agreement.

Are you saying that I fall under bigger businesses/agency?

I feel and believe that putting limitations based on your teams' perspective is shortsighted, and marginalizes some people who REALLY need your service.

A: Hey, SMKHub!

I have good news for you...

We JUST released our new tiers. Like literally 5 minutes ago. These new tiers allow you to have up to 100 (!!!) documents per month. You can buy this new tier right now — or upgrade your existing tier.

You can read more about upgrading your existing tier right here if you already purchased: https://help.appsumo.com/article/106-upgrading-downgrading-my-license (and, you can email support@appsumo.com with any questions).

We'll also keep exploring other opportunities to keep making BreezeDoc better. We are releasing more updates than ever before, and in the past 30 days alone we've released 20+ updates.

Exciting times ahead, and can't wait to keep making the product better for you.

Q: Hi David, looking through the Q&A for anything related to security - so, I sell to: Healthcare, Govt.

institutions, some very small with modest needs where BreezeDoc could be a fit. Common denominator is they all require some form of encryption for signed docs, i.e. HIPAA in healthcare and other various requirements for the rest for basic security. Would it be possible to use BreezeDoc in such environments?

A: Hey, 110934056914958962988!

Thanks for your question — and thanks for looking at the Q&A first. To keep the Q&A section clean, we do try to moderate repeat questions. This makes it easier for everyone to browse the Q&A without tons of confusion, stress, or overwhelm. We want to make it easy for people to understand, and appreciate you taking time to read the existing questions first. 🙇

HIPAA requires a ton of restrictions, audits, and associated costs... so it's likely not realistic in the near future. It's just way too expensive to make sure we're HIPAA-compliant, and we'd have to pass along those costs to our customers by significantly increasing the price of BreezeDoc.

We're hyper-focused on simplicity and affordability, and we want to continue playing in that sandbox. For solopreneurs, consultants, and freelancers, we think we're a GREAT choice (and way more affordable than DocuSign or Dropbox Sign).

Q: Can you clarify the number of documents allowed to be sent per month?

The highest tier (4) says 40 documents per month. Is that total number of documents? Or is that types of documents/templates than can be sent?

We have at least 6 different templates we'd need added and send more than 40 documents for signature every month. What are our options there?

A: Hey, d9f260d35a1c4c07a7b1919286df8644!

Thanks for your question. The number of documents refer to *sent*/executed documents per month. Each document is counted uniquely. So, a document with ten recipients is one document. A document with one recipient is one document. You can have any number of recipients up to your tier limits and it still counts as only one document.

Q: Testing to send documents, count towards limit?

Hi, I am still evaluating breezedoc, it's lot of work to customize templates to our own contract, i have to make sure that it works well. I find whenever i send a test doc, it's counting towards my limit. Any option to test send the document without affecting the count limit as it's already very limited.

A: Hey, flic!

We don't differentiate between test documents or real documents — because our backend sending provider doesn't care. We have to pay them regardless, so unfortunately we have to limit them regardless. You can, however, save drafts or experiment with signing yourself to see how the process goes.

And remember, there's a 60-day refund period which is literally 4x (!!!) longer than major competitors in the market. You can try it for two full months to see how you like it before deciding whether to keep it or not.

Q: Is there plan to support Traditional Chinese in the future?

Hi, we are a company based in Taiwan and are very interested in your solution. I really admire how straightforward and user-friendly it is! However, we’ve noticed there isn’t support for Traditional Chinese at the moment, which makes it a bit challenging for our clients to use. We would be happy to explore ways to assist with translation if that could help make your solution more accessible to users here.

We *did* just add frontend translation features, that translate key parts of the product for your recipients. Right now, we have a few languages... but it's easy to add more. You can just email support@breezedoc.com, and we'll send you the language files to help us translate. From there, it typically takes 1-2 weeks for the translation to be uploaded into the system and available for users to select in their settings.

Q: BreezeDoc Logo on Pdf export

I have read in a number of Reviews that the app is great, but unusable for many businesses because the BreezeDoc logo is added to each page of the final document after it's signed and exported. While I understand the importance of branding, and am happy to have the branding in the emails sent and the app, of course, having the BreezeDoc logo printed on our contracts would be a no no for me. Is there any plan to introduce a higher tier or an option to remove the logo on the Pdf exports?

A: Hey, Cardinal_1!

We're always exploring different ideas for BreezeDoc, and we're hearing loud-and-clear about custom logos and branding. It's likely in the future that we add a no branding option to BreezeDoc.

Like we do for another Originals product (SendFox), it's possible we make this an affordable monthly add-on — although a one-time add-on, or even higher tier, is not out of the range of possibility.

On the current Tier 3 and Tier 4, the BreezeDoc logo is significantly reduced (and you can upload your own custom branding), so that's the current workaround for now.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Q: Has this product stopped improving or updating?

I noticed that your latest post on your roadmap was June 2024. Is this product final at this point? With the questions and reviews it looks like there is some improvement needed.
It looks like you are still at beta, is this correct? My assumption comes form your pricing at $39 for lifetime for 40 documents.
I was planning in using breezedoc for business and would like to know an honest response if this will be a product that is only intended for informal E-signature or will eventually be reliable enough for business.
Thanks.

A: Hey, juan31!

We're still VERY active. The roadmap solution we're using is not working to the standards we have, so we're planning to shift to a new roadmap solution in the near future. But in the meantime, we're still very active on BreezeDoc — having released literally dozens of updates over the past few weeks (search bar functionality, improved templates that also save your email templates, UX and UI fixes, and lots more).

In the coming weeks, here are the updates we have planned:

1) Improved post-signature page
2) Massive mobile improvements so it's easier to sign/execute on mobile (really excited about this one)
3) Repeating data fields functionality
4) Optional default value/placeholder on fields

At this point, 17,000+ people have registered for BreezeDoc and are sending literally *hundreds* of documents per day. We have a range of people from small solopreneurs/freelancers just starting out and sending their first contract to $100+ million per year businesses (seriously) using it for their onboarding, finances, HR, and more.

A: Hello Janzzy,

Thank you for your questions!
We are glad to assist and explain!

We do not offer ETA's on our feature development, as plans can change and the development process is constantly under evaluation to allow the best possible solutions added for all our respected users. Thank you for your understanding.

1.
BreezeDoc supports RTL characters fine, but there may be some tweaks needed to cover all cases. It's certainly a goal of ours to fully support Hebrew and RTL languages, though, so it will only get better through the time!

2.
Our API's are very basic ones in BreezeDoc, and we are looking into investing more in those in the future.
We currently only have this basic page with some light endpoint documentation here: https://breezedoc.com/integrations/api.
Perhaps this can help.

3.
The redirect after signup feature is not available at this time in BreezeDoc, but we have recored your suggestion to our future feature documentation on your behalf.

Thank you for your support while we work on improving BreezeDoc!

Best regards from the Team Originals!

Q: Editable Text Box

Hi everyone,

I purchased this product last week and found it to be fantastic! However, I had to request a refund due to the absence of a key feature that I believe is essential. The system would greatly benefit from a ‘Drag and Drop’ editable text box, which would allow for quick and easy contract edits, such as adding a customer's name.

Currently, any time we need to add details to a templated contract, we have to create a new PDF manually, upload it, and then place the ‘Signature’ fields, which is time-consuming. Introducing a feature that allows editable text areas would make this process significantly more efficient.

Is there any chance this functionality could be added?

Thank you!

Q: How to Save

I think I'd really like this, but I've watched several videos, and once I've added a place for signatures, I don't have a "Save" button on my document. Also, when I try to sign in the signature box, nothing comes up, and I'm not able to type into a text box. I don't know who to go to get help.

Q: By signing here, are the documents valid in Mexico?

A: Hello omar915,

In Mexico, electronic signatures are governed by the Código de Comercio (Commerce Code) and the Ley de Firma Electrónica Avanzada (Advanced Electronic Signature Law, FIEL).

Both laws recognize the validity of electronic signatures as long as they meet specific criteria, such as authenticity, integrity, and consent.

Simple Electronic Signature (SES):
These include signatures created with tools like BreezeDoc, which are generally valid if both parties agree to use them and they are linked to the signer (e.g., via email or other identifying information).
BreezeDoc and similar tools are valid for most agreements in Mexico under the Commerce Code.

However, for highly formal transactions, an Advanced Electronic Signature may be necessary.
We recommend that you always evaluate the type of document you are sending and consult legal advice if you're unsure!

With kind regards,
Team Originals

Q: Higher tier available?

Hi,

Due to that, our business is seasonal, in a given month, we might send out more than 40 credit card authorization forms. Even though it's one form, we send it to each individual to sign up, so it would not be considered just one document, rather it would be counted individually, correct?

Do you have a higher tier that would allow more documents?

A: Hello gamofoby,

Thank you for your email and your interest in BreezeDoc.

Yes, your documents would be counted individually as you send them to only one person.

The highest BreezeDoc tier, Tier 4, supports sending 40 documents per month at this time.
Higher tiers are still not available in the current version of BreezeDoc, and unused document slots cannot be carried over to the next month.

One possible workaround would be to purchase multiple licenses, using different accounts to manage more documents.

We understand that some customers may need higher limits, and we’re actively exploring options to accommodate that in the future.
BreezeDoc was initially designed to support smaller agencies, but as we grow, we’re keen to learn more about the diverse needs of our users.😊

We trust this would help, and we wish you a great day!

Q: Sending to multiple recipients

Does sending to multiple recipients work?

In the first two sendings I have made, it is only sent to the first recipient. In order to send it to the rest of the recipients, you have to click on the send button one by one.

Is this correct?

I understand that it is not. But it has already happened to me on the two occasions that I have tried. That's why I don't know if there could be a possible error or malfunction.

A: Hey, 4d721f26b91c47718fca719d3adcf0d6!

At this time, BreezeDoc doesn't have teams functionality. It wasn't designed for this, and we don't mention this anywhere — so I'd be curious if you were misled by a review or something. Let us know at support@breezedoc.com, and we can make sure that any influencers/affiliates are using the correct information.

With that said, teams functionality *is* something we're exploring as an idea for 2025. We don't have an ETA on it, or even if it will for sure happen, but it's something we're looking into.
