The core idea and UX of XInterview are very promising and the app is already quite nice to work with. However, for my use case in the European market there are a few important blockers:
- The lower AppSumo tier does not offer real white labeling, and “Powered by XInterview” is very prominent in the candidate flow. Tier 10 does offer white-labeling, but it costs ten times as much ($890), which means it’s no longer really a bargain.
- The terms and conditions candidates must accept are written for a B2B relationship with the customer, not for candidates, which will be a problem for many candidates in this local market. The applicable law is Indian law, which will be unacceptable to many EU users.
- The translation is sometimes awkward and there is no way to override or customize the wording.
If XInterview adds proper white label options, lets customers customize legal text and translations per language and changes to applicable EU law this could be a good long term solution. For now, I am sorry to cancel the deal.

I bought this deal long time ago but never used it.

Then 2 months ago I decided to actually check it out and WOW, It helped me so much.

I'd waste hours of my time listening to garbage candidates that i would reject either way. This platform allows me to have them answer and I can listen and make proper decision, this is an ABSOLUTE must if you do work with setters/sales people.

Before using Xinterview, I was spending a lot of money on other video interview platforms. The costs added up quickly, and honestly, the features were very similar. After switching to Xinterview, I’ve saved almost $2,000 every year, which has been a massive win for my business.

Xinterview provides a smooth and professional interview experience for both recruiters and candidates. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate, making the entire hiring process more organized and efficient. Setting up interviews is simple, and everything runs seamlessly without unnecessary complexity.

What really stands out is the customer support. The team is excellent fast responses, high-quality solutions, and a genuine willingness to help. When I reported minor bugs, they fixed them the same day. The team is very active, responsive, and continuously improving the product by resolving issues and introducing new features.

Overall, I’m fully satisfied with Xinterview. It delivers outstanding value, saves a significant amount of money, and is backed by a dedicated and proactive team. Highly recommended!

I have to say I'm genuinely disappointed by what I need to write as a review for this application.

👉🏻 Xinterview has nothing to do with Prospect'In (Waalaxy)

Contrary to what he claims on his roadmap, the founder of Xinterview has absolutely no connection with the Prospect'In/Waalaxy team, which is highly successful and therefore very reassuring. I reached out to one of Prospect'In's co-founders and he confirmed that he has no affiliation with Xinterview whatsoever.

On their website, they claim to have received numerous awards on the G2 platform, which is not the case at all. When I purchased a lifetime license on AppSumo for this software, these awards displayed on their website obviously played a significant and reassuring role in my decision. Since then, lies and suspicious behaviors have gradually accumulated.

The first lie was claiming in February 2025 and in October 2025 that a major update was being prepared with advanced AI integration on the platform. More than two months have passed and there hasn't been the slightest evolution of the platform. Absolutely none. Not a single email from the company to its users either. Nothing at all.

But that's not all. I tried to contact the founder and realized that there are no other employees for this company on LinkedIn. None. Yet they wrote to me saying that nine developers were working on this platform, which is particularly surprising when you see that the platform isn't evolving at all.

I tried contacting the founder on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and by email 2 months ago. Same thing—nothing at all. Not a single response.

The last and biggest disappointment is, of course, the fifty or so bugs I've identified on this platform. I've systematically reported them with screenshots and maximum detail to technical support—though I'm not sure you can call it technical support since it's just the software's chat feature. Not a single bug has been fixed in the past two months and they confirmed to me last night that none of the 30+ bugs I reported to them will be fixed.

All of this together convinces me that this is an application that was probably quickly coded in a week and is no longer being developed at all today, and probably hasn't been for a very long time, possibly since its launch. There's therefore a huge discrepancy between the image being projected by what is certainly the sole person behind this company and what it actually is.

I'm therefore naturally starting to doubt the reviews that have been published here and there, because I can't believe for a second that this accumulation of bugs hasn't caused problems for other users as well.

Finally, I want to clarify that a phone call or screen-sharing session wouldn't fix all the bugs on your platform. I'm not a user who doesn't know how to use the software. I know perfectly well how to use it. Everything I've reported to you consists mainly of bugs that need to be resolved urgently on your end (around 35 to 40 bugs) and 10 to 15 suggestions to improve the application.

I was a big fan of xinterview AI until recently none of the videos will load have reached out to support about a month ago. Did not get any promising update about this being fixed anytime soon.
