How do you intend to ensure full GDPR compliance within the EU in order to mitigate regulatory and geopolitical risks?

The main issue is that the company is based in Ukraine. One problem is that the data controller or processor is located outside the European Union. Another issue involves risks-for example, those related to the war.
Is it possible to set things up so that whenever I receive a new message or email, I also get a notification on Slack (and other messaging apps)?
Have you considered something like that? For instance, LiveAgent.com offers this functionality-though such notifications can also be enabled in various other tools.
