Team can you respond on this. Some security concerns I had raised for Greta also. But I am not getting responses that gives me comfort. I am not technical & expect technical issues, risks etc to be ironed out by Greta &. PLGOS. I do not want to launch an app to realize I faltered
I sincerely appreciate your reply and clarification. Having a demo org linked is actually very helpful. One final question -- there was a user in there, initials QL (I won't share here for their privacy), that is indeed a real person and according to their website and linkedin profile, has nothing to do with you. So, was their info used and published without their permission? Or client? Investor?
For tier 4 - you ahve 10 teammates with 4 inboxes, which is extremely low, thats not even 3 per inbox. AI Credits are one time, not sure how these work and will it be enough for some companies. If you are limits on these then why not increase the limits of teammates and noboxes for tier 4. How about branding removal?
I confirm, limits are deal breaker for the highest tier with unclear mapping to the official so called "unlimited" tier that has nothing unlimited in real.
Tier 4 is mapped with the Unlimited plan but includes some limits. This is to ensure we can run a sustainable business in the long term. So let me ask you, would you prefer higher limits with a short-lived business, or reasonable limits with a product that’s here for the long run?
Here’s a reality check: out of ~1,538 products listed on AppSumo, roughly 80% are now unavailable. Many offered “everything unlimited” and couldn’t survive. We refuse to join that 80%. So the real choice is: 👉 A product that gives you “unlimited everything” but risks vanishing in a year? 👉 Or ThriveDesk, with balanced limits and a team committed to building with you for years to come?
Here’s a reality check: out of ~1,538 products listed on AppSumo, roughly 80% are now unavailable. Many offered “everything unlimited” and couldn’t survive. We refuse to join that 80%.
That’s why ThriveDesk sets reasonable limits. It keeps the platform sustainable so you can rely on us for the long run.

Here’s a reality check: out of ~1,538 products listed on AppSumo, roughly 80% are now unavailable. Many offered “everything unlimited” and couldn’t survive. We refuse to join that 80%.
That’s why ThriveDesk sets reasonable limits on teammates, inboxes and AI credits. It keeps the platform sustainable, so you can rely on us for the long run.
I can't agree more, you refuse to join the 20% as well... be BOLD. Appsumo is about getting invaluable feedback from the community, brand awareness... not only about making revenue. Moreover, in deal terms you map the tier4 to unlimited while there is nothing unlimited and related to your official unlimited plan, use the right words and don't mislead users! I'll pass on this deal like the others.
We’ve been building ThriveDesk for 4 years, bootstrapped, we are here to stay. You can pass on a deal like this, but later its value will rise for sure. About Our Tier 4 is mapped to “Unlimited” but with clear limits for sustainability, rest is everything without limit, others plan have more restrictions. BTW we are listening to feedbacks some changes may come. Thank you for your valuable input.
I'm talking about "$50 monthly fee to remove branding" and this is a hefty price point. For $50 you can get a ton of other MRR tools with better features...it's expensive.
The reason we charge for branding removal is simple: the branding gives ThriveDesk organic visibility and helps us keep pricing sustainable for everyone.
If removing branding is critical for you, the option is there. But if not, keeping it helps us grow and ultimately lets us keep delivering value to you at this price point.
your argument is repetitive, arrogant, short sighted, incorrect and not aligned with who you are 'trying' to sell to.. So you are saying on the AppSumo marketplace.. that 80% of their deals have failed.. keen to know more.
Our message is this: instead of chasing “everything unlimited” and risking short-term burn, we’re setting sustainable limits so ThriveDesk can be here 5+ years from now, not just for a launch.
We respect your pushback and we’re listening. The branding fee and limits are decisions we made carefully but we’ll continue to review based on user feedback. Our goal isn’t to shut doors, it’s to build
If 80% statistics is true then this is because of deals like yours, you fail to understand the reason behind appsumo concept and you list your product to make some bucks and run away!
We’re a bootstrapped team, building ThriveDesk for 4 years. First time on AppSumo and we’re here to stay not run away after launch.
We’re noting all feedback, and after gathering requests we’ll discuss internally to make changes where possible. For example, we’ve already decided to allow BYOK, even though it wasn’t in the original plan.
4 years .. is a long time to have been bootstrapping to then come onto an LTD marketplace. So, something isn't working. What is it that you are looking for from this campaign? It does not appear to be feedback! Kust incase, leaving your logo on a chatbot - (your growth hacking model is about 5 years out of date).. makes it look like a free tier product. Distracts from your own customers marketing
Fair take. Bootstrapping for 4 years doesn’t mean something isn’t working. It means we’ve been growing sustainably without burning VC cash. Now we’re on AppSumo because we want distribution + feedback at scale, not just another cash injection.
Good luck with your campaign.. I guess you will figure things out later.. I very much doubt this will be your last exchange on the branding issue. I am not getting the feedback vibe from this conversation though. Here’s a reality check for yourself: (except this one is not made up) which is better for you - people not showing your branding or people just not buying at all? Like me.
I am glad I checked the questions before buying. What a pity you decided to exclude the branding removal from the deal and price it at such a level. While I am on the market for a solution like yours, not even going to give the tool a try unless the branding is included in the deal.
ThriveDesk has received positive feedback from customers, who appreciate its intuitive interface, powerful AI features, and responsive developer support. However, there are some limitations, such as the limited availability of the iOS app and some feature requests. Despite these occasional grumbles, ThriveDesk remains a solid choice for those seeking a streamlined customer support solution. With an overall rating of 4.6 and a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's definitely worth giving it a try.
Thanks. “GPT‑4o + domain knowledge = no hallucinations” isn’t sufficient. Meaningful reduction requires RAG with thresholds, an answer‑only‑if‑grounded policy, citations/snippets from the KB, guardrails to prevent speculation, and fallback/abstain on low confidence. Do you implement these? If yes, please share technical details (e.g., thresholds, abstain behavior, citations, metrics).
Yes we do use RAG, with thresholds, so the chatbot only answers questions related to the knowledge base. Try asking it who's the current president of the United States or how tall is the Eiffel Tower
Thanks for the clarification—great to hear you’re using RAG with thresholds. To satisfy our QA/compliance, could you share a bit more detail: 1. Do you enforce citations/snippets from the KB in answers? 2. What’s the behavior on low confidence (abstain/fallback to agent/ticket)? 3. What retrieval do you use (dense/hybrid) and what thresholds? 4. Do you track metrics;
love the detailed technical inquiries 🙂, (1) citations are not shared in the output answer (2) the bot suggests a handover to an agent (3) dense, around 75% (4) sure we have several dashboards builtin

Questions
Q: Is planned Refresh UI/IX?
Hi guys! I'm a fan user of AnyChat and really impressed with all the amazing features you bring every week/month and is truly becoming a full replace for many tools but is not intuitive at all and even scary for business owners (we tried on a focus group and they reject to use as it seems too overwhelming) so I wonder if you are planning a reshesh on the UI/UX to make the product more intuitive,...
I think that working on UI/UX ultimately makes sense, but it's not the most important thing now. 🤔 You could also think about customizing, for example, the left menu, the ability to disable certain elements, the ability to move, change the order.
I agree with this. Improving an intuitive UI/UX is essential, especially for tools used to serve customers. I see this as a weakness of Anychat compared to competitors. Hopefully, it can be fixed soon. I believe hiring a UI/UX specialist would resolve this issue.
Anychat DB is powerful yet overwhelming for final users. Integrating all the chats, inboxes, tickets into one tab and inside this tab use hierarchy (ticket, live chat and handle to human goes first), tags (filter channels), and a customizable kanban (easy CRM). MSGBubble DB is a good example.
A simplified version of chatflow builder for final users will be really helpful. Amazing tool! 🙌
My 2 cents, The UI/UX is extremely important. The user experience far outweighs the functionality with this already feature rich platform. What I would like to see as part of the experience is a logical flow within the UI and those components grouped and structured a bit better. Good example is to guide the user through the setup and configuration process.
I will add, the platform UI in it's current form has made me step through things one by one and really get familiar with it to understand the logic and piece it all together. This will help when I will have to provide support to my customers.
I agree, UX/UI is extremely important. It's actually whats been preventing me from purchasing AnyChat. Then I saw their new widget vid on telegram and bought all 3 codes. Its beautiful and feature rich (well foundational features, looking forward to ecommerce integrations). Hoping it launches soon and the backend follows suit.
This would be a valuable addition that offers significant benefits. Examples of similar tools include ChatSimple and Chatbase. Improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) will create a flywheel effect for Anychat platform in the long run.
Customers appreciate the versatility of AnyChat, praising its seamless integration, extensive customization options, and responsive customer support. Some users have encountered minor bugs and a learning curve, but these are overshadowed by the platform's robust features and value for money. With an impressive 4.8 rating and 115 reviews, AnyChat is a solid buy for those seeking a comprehensive and user-friendly chat widget. With a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving it a try.
ok everything is fine and thanks for the reply, I will write to you today! On Appsumo we grow together and we cannot just hope that those we finance do not fail. This is why we deserve to have moved from a basic profile to an enterprise and not pay for the features of an enterprise profile and get a Basic profile for life. 100% of the time, Basic, means that we do not receive the best upgrades
I would also like to see at least the top tier 7 "officially" mapped to a plan like "Enterprise". Purchasing 7 times more codes than a 1-code buyer but only having assured the future plan updates of "Basic" is concerning. If there's no compromise in giving us the "Enterprise" mapping now, it's hard to be confident that we'll get any of the top future updates that will be tied to the highest plans.
Customers appreciate Tiny Talk for its intuitive interface, robust AI training capabilities, and seamless integration with WhatsApp and APIs. Some users have expressed minor concerns about lead management and email notifications. With an overall rating of 4.6 and a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving Tiny Talk a try for fast and efficient AI chatbot creation.
1. As I understand you offer only 6k GPT replies, but unlimited pre-trained replies, right? 2. What is considered as pre-trained and what replies are considered as gpt replies? 3. 6k replies per month is extremely low.. do you plan to bring BYOK for increasing limits? 4. If not, can you consider adding an extra paid lifetime add-on for enabling BYOK to your services if anyone wants it? 5. What...
Customers have praised VanChat for its seamless integration with Shopify, accurate and human-like responses, and proactive product suggestions. Some users have expressed a desire for additional features like human handover and an iOS app. Overall, with a 4.7 rating and a 60-day money-back guarantee, VanChat is a solid buy for those in need of an AI chatbot for their Shopify store.
Q: Not having folders and tracking in Tier 1 and 2 is holding me back from purchasing as well.
Seems like those 2 things + the ability to customize font and color should be foundational features across all tiers while the higher tiers focus on number of team members and custom domain.
Question: when you use a custom domain, does that mean our server would be hosting the files?
'Customers appreciate Vocal for its seamless voice recording and transcription capabilities, personalized communication, and prompt customer support. Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding whitelabel/resell. Can I just use my domain and resell access to your platform like a saas? If so, how many users? Do they share the resources of the whitelabel plan? Can this plan be upgraded in the future? Morover, can I use my own pricing and change the avatar, onborading video etc.? Thanks

Hello Beth, It has been a while since the initial question was posted about this product. However, you stated you've 'doubled' the number of templates. Do these new templates include platforms like TikTok? Also can these be used, bundled or sold as part of an upsell or upgrade with the my service to clients and/or customers? Or are they to be used exclusively on me "the buyers" social platform only
